"I would probably say the people--they just keep coming," said Chamber of Commerce Chairman Todd Lamore.
What's on the "menu", this year?
*A little booth for "Stoning"?
*A "Torches and Pitchforks" 5-K run?
*A circle-klatch for the best Destructive and Incendiary Rumor?
*How about, for First Place, the best idea on how to Run Your "neighbor" Out Of Town?
***Chamber of Commerce, huh?
You have a lot of "connections".

Moral disengagement (Wikipedia)
Moral disengagement is a term from social psychology for the process of convincing the self that ethical standards do not apply to oneself in a particular context, by separating moral reactions from inhumane conduct by disabling the mechanism of self-condemnation.
Little Eichmann (Wikipedia)
"Little Eichmann" is a phrase used to describe persons who participate in society in a way that, while on an individual scale may seem relatively innocuous even to themselves, taken collectively create destructive and immoral systems in which they are actually complicit....
Comparable to how Adolf Eichmann, a Nazi bureaucrat, unfeelingly helped to orchestrate The Holocaust.

THE SECRET OF COMMUNITY SPIES
___FBI and Infragard
By Matthew Rothschild, March 2008 Issue
Today, more than 23,000 representatives of private industry are working quietly with the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security.
The members of this rapidly growing group, called INFRAGARD, receive secret warnings of terrorist threats before the public does—and, at least on one occasion, before elected officials.
In return, they provide information to the government, which alarms the ACLU. But there may be more to it than that.
One business executive, who showed me his InfraGard card, told me they have permission to “shoot to kill” in the event of martial law.
“We are the owners, operators, and experts of our critical infrastructure, from the CEO of a large company in agriculture or high finance to the guy who turns the valve at the water utility,” says Schneck.

It reminded me of the time I stopped to help a woman who was being physically assaulted by her boyfriend and being dragged back into the car as she tried to get away from him.
The people in the cars behind me did nothing except lay on their horns and yell out their windows.
But, what do you expect: this was in WETHERSFIELD, CT.
They still have sacrifices down at the Wethersfield Cove you know.
And, door-to-door lynch mobs.
