Holy cow Schumer actually said something that makes sense. The next thing that you know they will be taxing Mexican restaurants for the numbers of patrons that they serve.

Well, to be fair, we also should tax the human cows who hang out at McDonalds and release gas as they chow down on hamburgers.

The UN says cows create more greenhouse gases than motor vehicles if you count all the technology used to keep and raise and milk and butcher and transport them. Then again, termites still put out so much that on a graph of greenhouse gas sources, cows and humans barely show up next to volcanos, forest fires, ants and termites.

There are profits for beef and dairy farmers?? Not hardly! If you do your research, you will find that most of the greenhouse gas garbage as related to cattle is put out there by vegans who are promoting research (padding their own pockets), vegan cookbooks (padding their own pockets), and special projects (once agian, padding their own pockets). It is ridiculous, and yet the media leads stupid people around by the nose and we let them do it without bothering to check and get our own facts. I recently read an article in the WSJ that stated that the global warming issue is very blown out of proportion, that we are actually in a cooling phase right now. It said all the billions of dollars being spent on research and special (pork) projects have not concluded in any way that we are actually in global warming. The amount of change in temperature and gases is so minute it cannot be distinguished from a natural variance. In the meantime, special interest groups spread false and misleading information that cripples manufacturing in our country, and shifts the manufacturing to countries with little, if any, safety or environmental standards. SMART!! At least we have Al Gore and his cronies gettting rich off of this, that way they can pay their outlandish electric bills, and fly around in luxury jets.

So basically it will funnel down to the cost of milk and beef products. It's seemingly a user tax.
