Fake accent, make people stand out on the street to eat your unhealthy food, and treat employees with no respect. Gee I wonder why she is in trouble. Please!

this is BS worring about somethng 30-40 years ago when they call white people worse than that today

That's my view.
First, the woman who made the original complaint is white, though that doesn't take away from the comment.
Second, and more important, is that it was 30 years ago. People and the times change, so maybe she is actually sorry those things were said back then - but does it represent who she is now? I don't think so.
Third, as to this piling on Paula by businesses has nothing to do with her history but I think because they can and because she has a Christian stance.

By the way, my comment is from a Boston, Ma resident.

The more I think about, the more its is Her Christian beliefs. Jackson is crazy broad who claims to be a Buddhist due to yard party event in Savannah Ga she attended once. Here is a link to her sworn testimony. If your patient and read the entire deposition, you will see where Paula Deen was a true earthly angel to mentally deranged idiot.

I do not see why Paula Deen is getting so much flack. I have never seen her show, or eaten at her restaurant. So I am not a big time follower of hers. All of this seems to be another attempt by the media to stir up racial tensions much like they have attempted to do with the Martin/Zimmerman case.
I find it abhorrent that Mrs. Deen would be punished in such a radical and harsh way by her sponsors and the media. It isn't unlike any of those people have ever made a comment. Living and growing up in the south every human being regardless of race has uttered that word at some point in their life. In these modern times that word does carry a stigma, but it is no longer attached to race as much as it once was.
Furthermore, there is a double standard. So if Paula Deen can be punished for uttering a word several decades ago why can't politicians and other government officials be punished for their wrong doings that are far worse than what this woman did.
I just feel that all of this is a witch hunt. The media always needs a scandal and the person who brought out all of this is obviously only in it for attention and money.
I hope Mrs. Deen makes a come back. All of the hate being thrown at this woman is horrible. The people that are getting so upset over this are acting no better than what they say they are standing against.
