It is surprising the Press Telegram is not playing up the fact that hungry eaters who enjoy the simple pleasure of an occasional after dinner tobacco product - along with their pals, the non-tobacco users of good-will - are NOT WELCOME at Long Beach eateries during the city's inaugural Eat LBC week NOR AT ANY OTHER TIME.

This is doubly surprising inasmuch as, when the Press Telegram was a newspaper of influence, it wholeheartedly supported revolutionary Council's imposing punitive taxes on those peaceful folks, along with its supporting of Council's use of hard earned tax dollars to mercilessly stigmatize those hard working God fearing food eaters. Why isn't the Press Telegram helping the local economy by playing up the fact that non-tobacco uses of ill-will are WELCOME during the Eat LBC festivities?
