Well, I avoid school lunchroom food and also jail food like the plague. I did an internship and was around at meal times. At one time, the detention centers cooked their own food or had tv dinners you could microwave. By the time I was done, they had gone to sending over trays over from the County Jail. The kids actually didn't mind the hot pockets and food I wouldn't touch because they weren't used to having great meals at home either. Most of the kids who were detained lived on the streets for the most part.
I've been in courtrooms in Texas and it was nothing like the b.s. I saw during this trial.
Here, the judges rule with an iron fist. You don't buck the judge, whine or do antics like I saw.
This whole trial has been sensationalized to the max.
Inmates at Estrella can buy food at the commissary if they have food in their accounts, but i think it is all packaged junk food. I don't know if they can have food brought in. It wasn't allowed the places I saw.

It appears JAA is running the show because they are scared of her.

Now that she is convicted, she is in closed custody. No tv. No roommate.
Getting her acclimated to LWOP or DP.
