A tough decision to make, but an absolutely necessary one. The money saved, by not assisting the ones that DON'T need this service, can be put to better use. The citizens'(pensioners' etc.) who are in need, will still be assured of a similar assistance package.
The new system seems very fair to me, and is a good all-round decision of the Cuban Government!

I can just here Multi-Names, and the Babbling Bogs, foolish rhetoric against this decision already!
Wait and see, folks.

My rabbi brought in a Jew for Jesus to speak in my religious school class once. He started his speech with a statement somewhere along the lines of
"I'm a Jew, but I also happen to believe in Jesus."

He went on to talk about how he's still Jewish even though he believes that the Messiah has already come to Earth in the form of Jesus Christ. He still participated in all Jewish holidays, prayed in Hebrew, wore a tallis and yarmulke to shul, and so on. Now, the question that this raised, at least in my mind, is "What's the difference between a Jew who believes in Jesus and a Christian?"

Jesus' first followers were a group of Jews who ended up believing that their spiritual leader was the Messiah. The first Christians were, um, Jews for Jesus.

Only you, or a person like You, could knock a good-news story like this. What's with you anyway, Multi-names?
Only you spell ass, as azs or azz, goof!
A dead giveaway, regarding your stupidity, Dung Pile! That is only one marker of your ideocincracies, goofball, there are many more
identifiers, to your IQ deficiencies.

Now the Cuban people are about to reap the benefits of their patience. Good things are finally coming their way. Read about some of them in the papers,(if you can), and weep, Multi-Names.
You've lost the battle of words, and you are starting to look more the fool, with each post you make.
Give up and get another job with the CIA,(if you can)- they usually don't tolerate failures though.

Multi-names is a virus of a human being if we can call him human. He is a fascist CIA drunk who loathes all that is good with humanity.

Much like you and your corrupt ilk thrived under Batista .

Castro's loved Cuba enough to fight for her, you and your ilk fled like mice . God has been kind to Fidel the warrior and has deprived your cowardly politically corrupt ilk of a country.

May God have mercy on your fascist soul and the black soul of the king of corruption,'WE Just Don't Care'.

I will pray for both of you.

Multi-Names, I really don't care what ANYBODY calls me, as long as they don't call me late for dinner!
The Castro Boys will soon be gone - Fact.
Cuba will still be there - Fact
Change is inevitable - Fact.
Will it be better for the Cuban citizens -???
It will, in my opinion when Miguel Diaz Canel, takes the reigns, with additional input from Rodrigas, and Marillo - Fact
There is no sense harping about what the Castro's did or didn't do, because the next generation of Cubans has been exposed to the modern world, through radio, TV and the Internet. They know what's out there and they know that they want a piece of the action.
They were lucky enough to have the Castro Boys slow things down and examine things a little more thoroughly than their counterparts in the other Caribbean Islands. Take Puerto Rico, for example. Murders, rapes, unrest, no safety for the tourists, on and on.
Compare that to Cuba's situation - yes there isn't a lot of money available, but, there is excellent medical, and healthcare, a marvelous, FREE educational experience, right to University completion, and a level for ALL of Cuba of GRADE 9, as an average grade level.
This blows away the USA, and is something to be very proud of.
So you see, Cubans have a difficult time stretching their dollars out, but, they can hold their heads up high for their accomplishments THAT REALLY COUNT - Health, Security, and the knowledge that,'GOOD THINGS COME TO HE WHO WAITS'.
This adage has never been more true, than beginning RIGHT Now, in Cuba's Case.
I told you a few days ago, about the big changes that are in the works for Cuba.
Keep your eyes and ears open, you'll certainly be surprised with what's coming next.
Stop your negativity towards Cuba. CUBA is not your enemy.
Your enemy, is YOUR OWN GOVERNMENT, and its treachery!
They are so afraid of insurections in their own couuntry, that there are inumerable acts for citizen control, that make the goings on in Gitmo, look like childs play.
Check out what FEMA is REALLY being prepared for. Check out the mind-control and weather controlling effects of H.A.A.R.P., The Patriot Act, NDA Act, Chem-trails, The Bildenberg's Group with their 500 Million, TOTAL World Population figure as the ideal number. On and On.
Your government participates in ALL OF THESE DESPICABLE Institutions. Plus the 32 divisions of the CIA et al. with the PRISM SYSTEM, and Spy Satelites, over just about every country in the world, and this is only the,'Tip of the Iceberg'.
Does the average American citizen know ANYTHING ABOUT THE THINGS I JUST MENTIONED? No they don't.
They are only informed of the Baseball, Basketball, Football scores, and Nascar race-winners names.
Cuban Citizens know more of what is going on in the world because, THEIR GOVERNMENT ALLOWS WORLD NEWS TO BE BROADCAST ON TELESUR, the South American News channel,(and others as well).
Your government only knows what the 4 GOP members in Florida, keeps repeating to them, about,'How bad the Castro's are', in order to get re-elected by the Miami-Cubans' in their ridings.
It's time to stop the B.S. and release A LITTLE KINDNESS TOWARDS THE PEOPLE OF CUBA.
You have done more harm to THEM, than they could POSSIBLY do towards you, USA.
