'Tis the season for bee swarms as hive populations expand

Last week I picked my granddaughter Alissa up from school. As we drove down the street behind Silverwood Elementary we realized wef were driving into the biggest swarm of bees I'd ever seen. I have not seen anything posted reguarding Concords swarmming bees only Claytons swarmming bees. I have lived in Concord some 50 + years and have never seen so many bees.

You do realize all you had to do was stop your vehicle, get out and start swatting them. They would have gone the other way and not have bothered you! Also next time bring an air horn, they HATE loud sounds!

Really Really get out of my car? Why would anyone get out of a car to swat at a sworm of bees. Lets see hummmm drive through the swarm or get out of my car and swat at them. Well we know what you would do. Good luck with that.

I've done it multiple times over the course of many years without any issues. I've defeated them like the allies defeated the axis. A portable air horn ( http://www.amazon.com/Unified-Marine-50074005... ) works great at keeping them away from your face. Once they are two feet or so away you start swatting them like a red headed stepchild. After that they get the hint and leave, they know whats up.
