Many Bergen County schools receive grants for environmental projects

Installing solar window shades, renovating a turtle pond and growing vegetables in a new greenhouse for school lunches are just a few of the ways students throughout the county will further their environmental education this year, after the Bergen County Utilities Authority awarded tens of thousands of dollars in grants.
