Congress, despite past pledges to give them up, continues to use a similar kind of additive for legislation - "sweeteners" latched to unsavory bills to make the dish edible.

Yes, why hasn't Mary Landrieu been brought up on criminal and ethics charges for using taxpayer money to fund personal travel expenses. The people of Louisiana should really consider dumping her.
