Oh yes the budget must be cut. But reason the budget must be cut is the rich use off shore hide spots for money so don't pay there fair share of taxes and the working class keeps making less so they cant pay enough taxes to keep things going.
Now what parts of spending budget do you think should be cut? Start with the first one and so forth, give like 5 examples,.
Welfare
Food Stamps
Heating Assistance
Free Government phones

Interestingly, it is okay for you to collect rentals for profit, which requires VERY LITTLE 'work'.
[In the way you've been talking].... Is it fair for you to have that money, when people work harder for less??
Maybe because it took advanced planning, saving money, maintaining good credit -- RESPONSIBLE ACTION on your part has generated money for you.
But you think people DESERVE more money, for not having planned their future for themselves??
Just something to think about.
I do think a CEO or doctor should make more then even me as a welder.
You still miss the point...SINCE 1980 THE TOP 10% WAGE PEOPLE HAVE SEEN THERE WAGES GO UP 3000%
WHY WORKERS WAGES HAVE WENT DOWN 25% IN SAME TIME.
When inflation is figured in on both.

HOW IS THAT RIGHT OR FAIR????

Yes I worked hard and provide a good rental so do make more then those I rent to. But I don't keep raising rent rates just to make ever more why they make less...

I thought so...

How about this way first

WARS
MILITARY BLOAT
WAR ON DRUG
WAGES FOR LIFE FOR POLITICANS
GIVING BILLIONS TO OTHER NATIONS.

Today people are hurting and out of work..What you listed should be last thing to be cut.

Certainly we can start cutting the military budget. Too much of our 'fire-power' is out there to protect our 'interests', which are really the interests of BIG BUSINESS which are USING OUR RESOURCES to protect THEIR PROFITS.

We should cut out anything that one or many individuals gets for FREE, that other people have to pay for themselves:

Such things that carry the word "SUBSIDIZED". Like subsidized cell-phones, subsidized housing, subsidized lunches, etc.

The government has replaced what churches and local communities used to do VOLUNTARILY. Local charities would help out in truly critical situations. So ANYTHING that a church, local community or charity can provide, should no longer be provided by the government. <PERIOD>

How about war on drugs and get 50% of people in prison for drug charges out. That alone would save 200-300 billion a year.

If churches would do it that would be great. but churches are to busy building huge mansion churches and sending charity money to other nations...Speaking of which we should stop ever last dime we give other nations.

But seriously welfare and food stamps should be one of last things cut unless economy starts to boom.

Millions would be homeless and starve if not for those programs.

I'm not impressed with your intellect. What you spew forward is nothing more than ideological talking points, most likely garnered from right-wing talk radio. In fact, I believe that you have communication problems at work. Co-workers probably find you arrogant and self-absorbed. And you are expendable. You're no different than the rest of us.

Yes I am against subsidies; even foreign handouts and subsidizing businesses (who get their money because they OWN politicians who write the laws).

The government was created to do those things for the collective us (not the individual me), those things we could not do alone.

Things like building roads and bridges which bring food to our grocery stores.

Provide for the common defense.

Education of our young people so they can grow up and become self-sufficient, productive members of society.

Courts, FBI & prisons.

Assistance to the TRULY disabled. Everyone else needs to provide themselves with their own food, shelter, clothing.(cell phones, internet connections, etc.)

Other services specific to a local area, like fire and police protection, libraries, sewer/water would be the responsibility of local governance.

And let's end ALL the wars:

War on Crime
War on Drugs
War on Gun Ownership
War on Poverty
War on Terrorism
War on Personal Liberty (Obamacare)

And stop the non-sense of trying to set up 'democracy' in countries and with people who are so culturally different in what they think and believe.

Agreed. I vote Libertarian because both GOP and DFL are destroying this nation. We need to get religion and big money and commies and Nazi fascist out of control of this nation.

We HAVE to end NAFTA AND OUR FREE TRADE AGREEMENTS AND GET BACK TO FAIR TRADE AND IMPORT TARIFS. I want a 15% flat tax for all people..NO HIDING MONEY OR OFF SHORE MONEY ALL ALL ALL MONEY IS TAXED AT 15%.....NO DEDUCTIONS EITHER.

I am sure you could NEVER do what I do. Welding takes great skill knowledge and a strong mind body and back and tolerance of pain and long hard hours and heat. Even at my wages I don't get paid enough.
Yeah ... Your a real genius ... that's why your breaking your back for a living.

Just FYI ... I rebuild classic cars in my spare time, so yeah I know how to weld ... both acetylene and MIG. But I'm sure that your a legend in your on mind.

The only thing you got right Joe is that we are all expendable.

Regarding the rest of your blithe observations ... well ... given that I see you as having no more redeeming social value than the homeless bum who sleeps under a bridge,... they don't mean much. At least the homeless bum isn't protesting that he deserves a living wage for begging in the street. So I guess that does place him in an elevated position above you Joe.

If the rich are promoting their self-interest in wanting tax cuts, I'm promoting my self- interest in wanting a living wage. It's only fair.
