Comcast offers Internet service for $10/month for low-income customers.
Second, the Government is not generous with public assistance when hateful House GOPers vote to cut $39M from the food stamp program.
The US is an industrial democracy. We don't live in sub-Saharan Africa. For all the wealth generated in this nation we can easily afford to take care of people suffering from poverty, unemployment or some other social problem.
You have $120 a year to throw away on the internet and still claim you need government assistance?

And to think, if you made more money, you wouldn't get Comcasts discounted service for low income and would have to pay even more for the internet.

Then you'd need even more assistance.

No amount of assistance can fix 'stupid'. It is just not possible.

Have you ever heard of the digital divide the federal government is trying to correct? Millions of low-income people have no Internet service and lose opportunities that could help them. The Internet is an essential part of life in the modern world. So money is not being thrown away. You have Internet service, then why shouldn't I have it?

Apparently having the Internet hasn't helped you very much.

You could actually use it to find satisfactory employment that doesn't require you to depend on government assistance to get by.

A friend of mine recently got a job through KellyServices online and is now making $40,000 a year.

The Internet can be beneficial to improve people's livelihood, but some would rather whine about being society's victim while they keep their hand open to government assistance.

First I have a low-wage JOB where I qualify for some public assistance. Millions of Americans are going through the same experience. And no, I'm not giving up my financial assistance to please some ideologue.

Second, I use the Internet to search job boards in my field.

For me, it takes courage to seek help.
No .. it just takes a sense of entitlement and an unwillingness to accept responsibility for your own survival and future.

But keep telling yourself that you're brave for seeking handouts. LOL

Money is being thrown away funding the useless losers like yourself. It is revealing that you believe that because another can afford something that you should be afforded the same even though you cannot afford it and have not earned it.

Keep your hand out beggar

Your not giving up the handouts because your lazy ... plain and simple.

Keep begging for the scraps off the tables of your betters, and telling yourself that you earned it. HAHAHAHA

Joe is a prime example of the broom pusher/toilet swabber mentality in this country. Crying that they don't make enough, but too lazy to attempt to achieve anything greater, more adept at begging than working, and feeling that they are entitled to the same things that others had to earn.

You should feel fortunate that I do not live in Philly, as I would make it my mission to find where you work and go on a campaign to see you fired, Joe.

It would not be hard. A few orchestrated complaints about you from multiple individuals, to your management and corporate. One less losers holding a position that could be held by someone with a future, instead of a worthless beggar.

Get an education and become a productive member of society rather than a parasite on the hard working tax payers.

BTW ... I am not rich, nor were my parents, however obviously as opposed to you and those like you, we were raised to work hard and value education as a tool for success. It appears that all your parents taught you was how to beg and claim that your a victim. Im sure you make them proud. LOL

American workers will never get a fair shake until they arm themselves and take back what is theirs by force and they had better do it before it is too late!

Look at history. Every time in history where the rich get so rich and the working class become poor war follows and the rich end up dead.

Some people waste their time thinking about the rich instead of getting their own act together and enriching themselves.

Blame all who you want to blame. But when you start pointing fingers of accusation, remember that there are THREE FINGERS left pointing directly back AT YOU.

Guess he was SMARTER than you.

He OWNED and operated a factory.

He can do whatever he wants with his factory.

Why aren't you able to achieve what your boss had achieved??

Do you think it was greed that inspired him to become successful??

What inspires you to be successful??

Life must be tough for you ... always being the victim with no control over your own life. Poor you!
