Costs of food safety proposals causing concern

Some farmers and state agriculture officials are concerned over costs of proposed federal rules aimed at making the nation's food system safer.
Simplicity is the best safety policy.
Such things as cutting long finger nails, washing hands carefully, etc. save in food safety.
Prevention is cheaper than disinfectation.
