We LOVE Pepperoncini's and won't eat anywhere else. The burgers, hoagies, salads and fries are awesome too. Once the Dairy Bar got too expensive, we started going here.

maybe the owner will quit copying everything snappy does and start his own pizza place. i was there the other day and couldn t believe how much he copied snappy. i used to work at snappy and nearly EVERYTHING is the same. are you allowed to do this? obviously snappy deserves to win the pizza challenge

Does Snappy serve Angus burgers and Steak fries? FRESH wings, salads and pasta?
I thought that all Snappy's had was pizza sauce slapped on shoe-leather with rubbery stuff they call cheese lightly sprinkled on top......NOTHING like Pepperoncini's as far as I'm concerned.

Interesting that the article did state that the 2 men spent 6 months comparing pizza from ALL OVER N.Ky, so your little theory that Snappy should have won is crap, just like Snappy's food.

Like the article states, this award went to an "independent pizzeria"; obviously snappy would not have qualified to compete. So they went with the independent joint in Silver Grove that copied snappy so well. i hear you can even order a beast there.
i did not know however that they had FRESH wings and pasta. making homemade pasta (not the stuff from a box) is quite a lengthy process, but rewarding when done properly. and as far as wings go, most places either get them precooked or frozen in the least, so they do not have to worry about raw product.....my three cents.

Attention Peppery Rob - Most pizza places have an extra large pizza....Haven't you heard of Pizza Hut's "Big Italian" .... It's called supply and demand ..if a customer wants a big giant pizza, make one, call it whatever you want and sell it to them. Snappy may have been one of the 1st to market this idea, but the concept is not new and should not be taken out on a small business owner.
Get over yourself, it was just a silly little competition that may bring in a little more business for this poor guy from a the 3 curious people who actually read the article. Why on earth would you go out of your way to downgrade, belittle and begrudge someone their 15 minutes of fame, no matter how small the fame may be?

Geesh!

The owner Rob used to work at Snappy. Apparently he invented/perfected some of the stuff on the menu, so rightfully he took it to his business.
