Vibrio Vulnificus is EIGHTY TIMES More Likely to Spread into THE BLOODSTREAM, in people who have A COMPROMISED IMMUNE SYSTEM and they are subjected to an open WOUND. The likelihood of contracting V. Vulnificus would be found in those who suffer from liver damage [and/or] they have ingested uncooked oysters. The MORTALITY rate for Vibrio Vulnificus is %25!

The mortality rate will rise to %50 developing into septicemia>>> following Ingestion, after which a patient will likely die, within 48 hours. An optimal treatment is unknown. However studies have proven that cephalosporin will temporary relieve the symptoms of pain from blistering, & Nausea. Vibrio Vulnificus is identified as a graham negative [Rod Shaped] Bacteria! Mortality Definition: The state of being mortal or susceptible [likely to be effected by] something ruled as harmful!

In the past 2 years members of the Volusia County commission/convention visitors bureau have warned visitors against the possibility of shark bites. Both occurring in NSB. As was the case with V. Vulnificus not being identified as to the shape or color of the bacteria they would also not identify the types of sharks that inhabit the waters. A visual idea was given by a victim showing signs of a deep 1/2 inch scratch on the lower leg, leading to conclusions that it was nothing more than a harmless sand shark. Though this does remain to be unproven, there in would be the doubt, that tells the public that Volusia County officials want nothing to do with visitors for their own corrupt reasons>
