I bet nobody has heard of Purplism. And Purplism is not to be confused with priapism, which deals with something else that is purple.

Quite true, my brother.
Reminds me of a time when a brother Muslim walks into his local mosque with a big grin on his face.

"What are you so happy about, Abdul?" asks the Imam.

"Well, I'll tell you," replies Abdul. "I live by the railroad tracks and on my way home last night, I noticed a young woman tied to the rails, like in the infidel American movies. I cut her free and took her back to my humble abode. Allah be praised - we made love all night, all around the tent. We did everything, me on top, sometimes her on top, every position permitted by Mohammed, Peace Be Upon Him!"

"By the most Merciful," exclaimed the Imam, "you have been blessed. Was she as beautiful as a desert flower?"

Abdul grimaced, "I do not know - I never found her head."

I always found the namesake for Priapism to be one of the funnier Greek myths.

Priapism is named after the Greek god Priapus, who was punished by the other gods for attempting to rape a goddess, by being given a MASSIVE, but useless, set of wooden genitals.

okay ,here are some interesting and stupid ones : aquarianism ,<kind of like scientology with aliens , also falsely known as spiritual satanism> yadizism , which is a type of semi jewish religion that is loosly related to jewdism ,but where a character beowned adought resembing a holy lucifer type character is worshiped as the main power , scientology : a strange religion that I know nothing about , zoloterianism , a rare religion inwhich the 3 Holy Kings were priests of and it is almost EXACTLY like judism, and The Church of Qwertyuiop, a religion based on the worship of the god of revalry ,mischief and randomness, though chaotic beowned imagination ,Qwertyuiop is a quite benevolent god ,the church of Yawwwwwwwwwwwwwn , the god of boring order and laws .

But if Islam is true, then the Koran would have to be perfect. If the Koran is "perfect", then why does Surah 18:86 claim that the Sun sets in a muddy spring? Fairy tales about a flat Earth is hardly perfect...

Fecalism: Religion based upon worship of a giant piece of stool. Yes, this religion stinks.

Drunkatology: Religion based on drinking ceremonial wine, and any other kind of alcoholic beverage with regular obeisance to the porcelain throne.

Cellularism: Cell phone worship. Involves non-stop use of the cell phone, and adherents take their phone with them everywhere. They drive with it, use the bathroom with it, eat with it, bathe with it, and sleep with it. Their deity is a constant companion.

Computerology: This faith turns to computers for companionship and to the Internet for the answers to all of life's problems.
