Yuuup!!! Just by meditating on the inner most divinity represented in those steeped in the tumult, a true Guru can lift the conflict from the hearts of those torn.
Sri Aurobindo helped end World War Two by sending Hitler's army to it's demise by the force of Russia when on the afternoon of Aurobindo's high HIGH meditation Germany was set to take over England:)
A Guru can also teach the wisdom and share the excitement of the inner pursuit that makes one see that the souls signed on to the same conflict together act as instruments of its eventual solution/transcendence.
Then all of those involved are free to pursue masteries that befit their divine stature. That we have been stuck for so long holding these arbitrary patterns with such fierce attachment has occurred at the dear cost of our seeking our purpose and recognizing the scope of our influence on this spiritual plane.
Yay for the Guru's who hold us together and keep us moving through this utter slow down and yahoo to us listening to, absorbing, becoming the wisdom. The beauty lies within us all to express and the conflicts all eventually leave.
Read Savitri by Sri Aurobindo by the way and enjoy the peak of high English poetry.
Best all, this is an excellent conversation:)

Just want to add a bit about a Guru's or a wise woman's compassion. These special saints can hold the hearts and catch the tears wrenched by these utter tragedies of ignorance and fear.

The compassion of sincere prayer for transcendence wash this earth of it's woe and I for one swoon by the notes of that song and spin roses along the course of a these humble miracles:)
