After losing 60 pounds on the Atkins diet I went off it in March. I have eaten everything and anything I want since then. I have gained back 10 pounds. I am somewhat astonished as I would have expected to gain more and have not exercised since March either. Today I start Atkins again after making numerous excuses all summer about starting after this event or that. Atkins is a wonderful diet for anyone looking to diet because you eat quite a bit and don't feel hungry. You also lose your cravings after not eating carbs for a bit.

I agree. I was once tempted to eat a slice of pizza. Luckily, there was no time. My time is divided into thousands of nervous little squares on lined graph paper. Everything is planned out. NO foolishness. I eat bean sprouts and drink distilled water. An excellent tea can be made from tree bark. Delicious consumed either hot or cold. This during the proper time frame, of course. Watch those calories, get to work on time and say your prayers at night.
