It isn't gangs or low flying jets that causes children in the area to be obese.....look at the adults, especially the females! They are ginormous!
It is a lack of parents being involved with their children, the lack of being able to let your children play outside because of thugs in the area, it is the high crime rate that is tolerated by the community members, and the lack of community involvement which causes this. Maybe the people of THAT community should stop trying to find ways to blame others for their own issues, police their own community, cooperate with the police in trying to clean up the area and stop making excuses. Create a community where kids can go outside and play, just as they did in the same area decades ago before "the element" moved in!

Yes, of course, and our great leaders cannot understand that simple explanation? What's wrong with them? Abd HOW did they end up as our "leaders"? Real leaders need to know much more, than how to smile, and read off well-prepared press-releases.

They have to be able to think, and make decisions.

You are correct. And I'm sure you meant "your leaders" as those who claim to be "leaders" of the black communities. You know the ones, the ones who only come out when a tv camera or a microphone is present, the ones who only come out when they want to make black folk the victims, the ones that are never around on a daily basis when it is the normal black on black crimes. The ones who never hold anyone of their own community responsible for their actions, but instead always look toward "whitey" as the scapegoat! I agree, those "leaders" should do more than smile and read off well prepared press releases!
