Driving around after school shooting at things, at 15, really? These juvenile delinquents and their parents should be sentenced to the full extent the law allows, and then some. Not only was this living creature shot once as it perched in a tree, it is believed it was shot again in the back once it fell to the ground and was left suffering to die. National Symbol aside, it was a beautiful living thing and was made to needlessly suffer, plain and simple.

I hope someone is listening to everyone's requests. Stop this from happening. Set an Example. Protect our Nation's Symbol. Bald Eagles suffer from man kind in so many ways. Their habitat is shrinking, lead sinkers and ammunition is killing them, turbines are killing them.. Children with Guns too. It has to stop and we will all be watching how this Judge handles this.

This is a serious crime! Bald eagles' worst enemy is a human being. In this case two 15 year old teens - not only shot the eagle in its wing, but then deliberately again in the spine, paralyzing it and letting it suffer. Take the guns away from them and punish them for this. Do not give them a slap on the wrist please! The judge handling this case needs to do the right thing! Children need an education on what is right and what is wrong - that's a good start.

How shameful! It is said that a child that abuses or kills innocent animal is likely to abuse and even kill as an adult! Bald eagles.. Our nations majestic symbol.. These boys obviously have no respect.. Judge needs to teach them what that means!

OBVIOUSLY their IDIOT care givers did not teach these morons very well. This sickens me. It is a FEDERAL offense to kill an American Bald Eagle. Their punishment (if convicted) should be to work along side a wild life rehabber, and learn the value of Mother Natures creatures.
