Hundreds of thousands of people are expected to fill the National Mall on Friday to protest the 40-year-old landmark Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion in the first trimester.

1. It IS slavery to force women to stay pregnant and give birth against their will due to backward religious beliefs.
2. Pregnancy IS a medical condition, and for many women, it is an UNWANTED one.
3. Yes, there are many women in the ANTI-CHOICE crowd, just as there were many women who stupidly OPPOSED the women's rights movement in the 19th century. Your point?
4. As far as I'M concerned, your "God" IS imaginary, and the bible is nothing more than a work of faith-based FICTION.
Your #4 point pretty much sums things up. you're a pagan. What can I say. You have the right, but you're dead wrong!

Unwanted pregnancies donot make it right to kill the unwanted unborn baby. The pro-life movement has many abortion referral services.

Morgan, Honeybee, Ocean56, You CANNOT argue against the facts. I have a counter argument for EVERY argument you try to set forth.#1 point in Ocean56's comment is absolutely ridiculous! It is NOT slavery to support the right to life for the unborn baby. That is NOT a backward religious belief!

Absolutely NOT on all your arguments Morgan. I belong to a Christian movement called the Holiness Movement. My roots are in the Free Methodist church, a denomination 100% opposed to slavery. My grandparents on my dad's side were BOTH preachers. My grandmother taught and administered in public education while my grandfather preached and took care of the kids. I believe in women being able to work, etc. Don't go accusing me of wanting to women in slavery. Your Democratic party supported slavery in the 1800's, opposed Lincoln's Emancipation Proclamation, and ALL Southern Democratic legislators opposed the 1964 Civil Rights Act.
Women are the founders of the Pro-Life Movement. check out the organizations, Morgan! Incidently, Planned Parenthood's Margaret Sanger was pro Nazi and a racist.
I don't give a hot damn what misogynistic holy bunch of BS you belong to. You want to deny women the right to determine their best interests and dictate their medical/physical well being by shoving your misogynistic beliefs down their throats. Slavery is EXACTLY what you are suggesting. To mandate that women must carry an unwanted pregnancy for the entire benefit of another with no benefit to themselves equals slavery. How else would you define it?

The democrats in the 1800's has nothing to do with the issue. The republicans along with you would like women to revisit the 1800's today, and that is a fight you will lose and have lost already.

You are a blatant liar concerning Margaret Sanger, you are probably as nuts and as big of prude as Anthony Comstock who history and progress could have done without.

Your need to control women with your male ego and your male god is nothing but an attempt to compensate for your inability to give birth. End of story. Now bang your bible good and hard, it scares no one.

In your abstract logic thinking mind, ALL traditional Christianity is fanatical, believing in mythologies and fantasies. You must be either an agnostic or an atheist. Your Democratic Party is the party of the pagan left so it's understandable. Pregnancy certainly is a medical condition but NOT the unborn baby. Abortion is murder. God does forgive!
That is correct : "ALL traditional Christianity is fanatical, believing in mythologies and fantasies." I think you are ALL a few bricks short of a load.

Pregnancy is a medical condition that a WOMAN is in charge of, not you, nor some mythological sky daddy. Abortion is legal and will remain legal. A womans personal medical well being is ENTIRELY her business and none of yours.

There are Crisis Pregnancy Centers and other pregnancy support organizations run by the very people you call hypocrites. Adoption is not only encouraged, it is practiced by prolifers. Helping potential mothers and even those women who have had abortions is also encouraged, promoted, and practiced. Sorry, but your Planned Parenthood/ NARAL talking points don't hold water. They are false!!
So you are admitting that pregnancy can be a crisis and yet determine that a woman/girl must produce by law what she considers a crisis? Interesting.

It is slavery to insist that one labor for the entire benefit of another with no personal benefit of their own. Slavery pure and simple. You totally eliminate the woman/girl in your support for the zygote/fetus. You have no argument except your backwards misogynistic mythological beliefs. No argument at all.

It IS slavery, not to mention a backward religious belief, to force a woman to stay pregnant and give birth against her will, no matter how many times you DENY that fact.

Women are NOT mindless baby factories "for God and church." Motherhood is OPTIONAL, not required, even if a pregnancy happens. Furthermore, NO woman has to punish herself with lifetime celibacy because she has decided never to be a mother. Deal with it.

Exactly, Morgana, I think this "OneProphet" guy is another Comstock wannabe who would probably love to outlaw all forms of reliable contraception as well as abortion. As to his LIES concerning Margaret Sanger, I have a few quotes from her book WOMAN AND THE NEW RACE that might contradict his moronic FALSE assertions.

**********

From: Woman and the New Race, by Margaret Sanger, 1920

1. "Most women who belong to the workers' families have no accurate or reliable knowledge of contraceptives, and are, therefore, bringing children into the world so rapidly that they, their families and their class are overwhelmed with numbers."

2. "The deadly chain of misery is all too plain to anyone who takes the trouble to observe it. A woman of the working class marries and with her husband lives in a degree of comfort upon his earnings. Her household duties are not beyond her strength. Then the children begin to come -- one, two, three, four, possibly five or more. The earnings of the husband do not increase as the family rapidly does. Food, clothing and general comfort in the home grow less as the numbers of the family increase. The woman's work grows heavier, and her strength is less with each child. Possibly -- probably -- she has to go into a factory to add to her husband's earnings. There she toils, doing her housework at night. Her health goes, and the crowded conditions and lack of necessities in the home help to bring about disease -- especially tuberculosis. Under the circumstances, the woman's chances of recovering from each succeeding childbirth grow less. Less too are the chances of the child's surviving."

3. "As far back as 1900, I began to inquire of my associates what one could tell these worried women who asked constantly:'What can I do?' It is the voice of the elemental urge of woman -- it has always been there; and whether we have heeded it or neglected it, we have always heard it. Out of this cry came the birth control movement. Economic conditions have naturally made this elemental need more plain; sometimes they have lent a more desperate to woman's cry for freedom.... But the birth control movement as a movement for woman's basic freedom was born of that unceasing cry of the socially repressed, spiritually stifled woman who is constantly demanding:'what can I do to avoid more children?'

After a year's study in foreign countries for the purpose of supplementing the knowledge gained in my fourteen years as a nurse, I came back to the United States determined to open a clinic. I had decided that there could be no better way of demonstrating to the public the necessity of birth control and the welcome it would receive than by taking the knowledge of contraceptive methods directly to those who most needed it."

It is difficult for me to understand HOW in this day and age people can believe in such nonsense. It causes nothing but strife, bigotry, misogyny and holy wars.

Thanks Ocean!

Men like "Prophet" get their panties in a bunch when a strong educated woman takes a stand and speaks up. They are much more comfortable with women that prattle along side them and do as they are told while stroking their fragile ego.

Morgana, apparently you don't know your history. There's not enough space here to post all the proofs of the Democrat Party's racist past. Nor is there enough space to give proofs of Sanger's nazism. Tat being said, I'm NOT a Republican. I'm a conservative supporter of the Prohibition Party which was at the fore front of women's rights including the right to vote. If you think I'm lying about the prohibition Party and my connections to it, here's the proof:

Here's a good short history lesson for you on just how hypocritical the Democratic Party is regarding race:

I am not interested in the Prohibition Party, prohibition did not and will not work. That is the problem with you bible thumpers you want to prohibit freedom into a narrow slat that disallows freedom except within the heavy constraints of your mixed up hypocritical, contradictory mythological book written by "men" called the bible.

The premise set forth in the bible as the "minor" role of women as subservient and submissive was the basis for disallowing the vote, property rights etc. in the first place. Since the book was written directly from the imaginations of men declaring a "male" god this comes as no surprise.

http://www.heretication.info/_womensrights.ht...

Gee, why would I as a woman hate "some" men who still peddle this nonsense in order to exercise their self established sense of superiority? Why would a black person hate the KKK? Questions for you to ponder.

See! I'm right! You won't go to the websites. The reason is simple: You are an extremist hater of males, the Bible, reason, and anything and everything you disagree with. Have you ever figured you might just be wrong once in awhile? The Prohibition Party was and is for Women's rights but also IS for the protection of the Unborn! You don't give a care about the defenceless unborn baby! All you care about is YOU and your FAR-LEFT extremist views! I'm done talking to you!

Of course you are going to bail from this debate because you are a coward and you are wrong. I went to your websites, I told you I was not interested in your party nor your beliefs.

You are an extremist interested only in controlling women, no matter how much you protest! Have YOU ever figured YOU might be wrong?? Of course not, not possible due to your brainwashed belief in a book written and authored directly from the imaginations of mere men.

You are not protecting the unborn, you are protecting your ego and control issues. You don't give a care about women/girls or their circumstances medically/physically/financial ly, nor do you acknowledge the slavery you wish to instill upon them in the name of fetus worship which is a guise in an attempt to compensate for your inability to give birth. How DARE women care about themselves as men do!!! How DARE they! I dismiss you as a woman hating misogynistic fanatic.
Deal with it.
