Two Teens Airlifted After Rollover near Swanville

I think parents have given waaay too much freedom to young teens like these boys. What are a 16 (new driver) and 15 year olds doing out at 1am? You can't give that kind of freedom to a new driver of 16 years of age! It takes some people years to drive confidently - that's why there are so many of these type of accidents! I hope the boys recover fully and are monitored more closely in the future.

I was not allowed to be out until the wee hours of the morning and still managed to do it. And I could tell you 100 stories about irresponsible use of an automobile well into my 20's. So I'm not sure blaming parents is very productive. I do know that 13ish to 25ish is when we are learning to be responsible and we all learn on a different curve. At any rate, 16 is too young for that kind of responsibility. Personally I never met anyone under 25 that I would call an adult, saying that someone is an adult at 18 is just silly.
It's no big surprise that kids often make poor decisions.

I think that people who don't know the whole story should watch what they say and whom they blame. For the record these are great kids who have turned out just fine.
