I THINK THAT MANY PEOPLE STILL DONT REALIZE THAT TEENAGERS SHOULD BE GIVEN THE CHANCES TO EXPRESS THEIR OPINION TOWARDS THE SOCIAL PROBLEMS.THEY SHOULD HAVE THE FREEDOM TO TALK ABOUT THEIR OPINION

One of the most basic and treasured freedoms in a democratic society is freedom of speech. You are free to think what you want and say or write what you want. There are occasional limits on that speech — some lawful and some not — but the basic freedom should be immune from challenges and upheld as your First Amendment right.

"What is freedom? Freedom is the right to choose: the right to create for yourself the alternatives of choice. Without the possibility of choice and the exercise of choice a man is not a man but a member, an instrument, a thing."

Nobody asked you to post 3 times.

teens should have some voice, but they are usually not mature enough to handle certain things. That is why we live with our parents untill college.

Think about it man, its kinda obvious why we shouldnt.

Right, first of all, you are quintessentially showing your repressionist policies in the fact that you're chastising "JOHN DOE" about posting three times. Second of all, no, it's not obvious. You're an idiot. Thank you.

We teenagers have the right to have a freedom. We need freedom. We want doing things we like but we need our parents too, to guide us and to help and to support us. Don't get mad to your parents because they are always their for us and to give us reminders because, they remind us for our own sake. And our parents want us to have a good future.

as a 15years old teenager, I keep praying that I got the freedom that I wants but my parents are so over protective me.. tends to making me like an so depends on parents.. perhaps I grown up in a single parents family, an only child as well, my mother are over protective me but I know that this is all for my own good as she dont want me to be hurt in other ways.. but I always believe that I should have the right to decide what I wana do.. I hoped that I can Have More freedom!..

in my opinion teenager nowadays gets more freedom and thats also make a great trouble.for example when i go outing in kl i can see a really young youth hang around with their friend with the fashion that i think not suitable with them.maybe they want to look cool but they just make people think bad about them.somehow i feel pity with them.do they think that they will success in life with that.im saying this because i already continue my study in university and i can see how important dicipline to us.i just hope that they can make a good change.

i'm a 16 year old teen but i don't know whether to agree with the topic of this dicussion or not. i know my parents love me and to me, they have the rights to know where ever i'm going and whatever i'm doing. that's why i tell myself that it's for my own good. it's actually not the problem of whether they have the freedom or not, but it's the problem whether they can accept it or not. and to me, it'll be easy if youth can try to accept that fact. but on the other hand, i still have my own privacy that i would want to conceal from any other person. and my parents are not an exception.

I'm only 16 and I think my parents don't understand me. I hope that someday i will be given a chance to do my own stuff and no one would stop me from doing it. I already know what's right from wrong and I think I can manage on my own.

obviously not. if the teenagers are not given proper guidance and only freedom then they might lead to a wrong path.
