Typical conservative reactions. Same kinds of people who could not be convinced the world was not flat. That place is very cool. Stay away if you have no sense of creativity and a beautiful use of space. David Salmela is considered one of our greatest living architects. Check out his work online. He's amazing. And you're not. That's why you love to spread fear and speculation. Do something good for this world and you might be able to enjoy great art and architecture better. You sound like a lynch mob. You are the creepy ones.

Drove through here years ago, as a teenager, just to check it out. I'd heard stories about cults and people in robes, and a strange man in an old VW van who tries to trap people in the town.

When I was there, some other kids happened to drive through at the same time. I decided it would be funny to stalk them as if I was one of the cultmembers on their tail. I caught up to them, and they got spooked, and headed back for the entrance. We we go there, there was indeed a VW van blocking the entry.

Both cars scrambled, and we both realized that we were trapped. I stopped to talk to the other driver, and found out that one of the group was a coworker of mine from an after school job. We both decided to try and drive around the van. I took the lead in my smaller car and was able to squeeze between the van and the mailbox. But my co worker was trapped behind.

Later on I found out that he was simply detained until the cops got there, and that the cops were more frustrated by repeated calls from the guy in the VW, who does this all the time to scare off gawkers. I guess this guy thinks he's the law; so the police's only action was to politely ask the other group not to come back, so that they don't need to waste time responding to stupid calls.

Sounds like this place is just a bunch of weirdos with strange ideas about the environment and what houses are supposed to look like. They also apparently have a NIMBY complex, and don't take kindly to folks who just drive through to look at their strange cult-like houses.

Crazy Crazy Crazy.

I dont think its bad to want to know if there is a cult place there..I mean just look in Ohio those girls trapped 10 years no one knew.. I dont care if they want to practice a different lifestyle ... I just hope they are not brainwashing any children..It could be just regular people If someone knows anyone that lives there please let these guys know before they start believing stuff thats not true...I saw a sign in u tube a house for sale if its a cult why would they advertise house for sale ... I like evidence not rumors Why dont one of the rumor believers call and go tour house for sale?? Then ask realator questions about people... It could be just rich ppl that bought house maybe not there all year..Could be the 1% cult haha
