Let's get on with this thing. I am sure Mr. Trudeau and his wife have learned by now not to get involved with teenagers and no no like booze. Now let's make something positive out of this circus. Like comunity service or something and let it go.

Damn, Damn, Damn, this really screws up our defense if the Judge refuses to throw out all the legally gathered evidence. Anyone have any ideas ? Hey wait did the Federal Government approve hate crime status for "Mullet wearing ex-jock rednecks"? Maybe would could get Sharpton involved.

How about you mother your kids, and keep your government out of my family? Or are you so inadequate of a parent that you think the government needs to intervene?

This whole thing is indicative of the extreme right wing jack-booted authoritarianism that has foolishly gripped our country. If parents can't serve their own children liquor or approve of their own children drinking in a controlled environment, then this country has become the New Soviet Union. I am sick and tired of seeing people get all yippy about stuff like this while at the same time supporting a president that LIED about going to war. Where are your priorities? What does freedom and this country mean to you? Spying on people's private property? You should all be ashamed for abusing your freedoms.

Can't get a warrant to enter a premises legally, make-up an anyomous call, so the police can come in and peek around and make-up probable cause to seize evidence. Everybody is always violating some type of law, and those that don't think so and applaud this type of police and legislative behavior will soon fall victim. A property owner used to have rights on their own land in this country.

...this from the crowd who values the life of animals over the life of the unborn children, giving rights to enemy combatants, believe global warming is controlled by man more than nature, believe the government blew up the world trade center and want to take away our freedom to be stupid. I like eating fatty foods and riding a motorcycle without a helmet and providing liquor to under age kids that aren't mine. Oops, that last one was yours.

Why is Trudeau big news to the Star?? Would this be covered if he was a dentist from the Northside or an inner-city parent?

Police searched illegally. They do it all the time.

Think about it this way... let's say you're driving 25mph in a 25mph zone and you have you have your seat belt on and no lights out. An officer pulls you over and says you were driving 35mph. What are you going to do about it after he writes the ticket? It's their word against yours. Who is the judge going to believe?

While your logic is somewhat distorted about serving alcohol to minors, I see your point. There are ALOT and I mean ALOT of wrongs in the country. There are no political parties that can change any of this until Americans actually get some personal backbone and stand up against the evils that harm us all: Unrealistic and highly over inflated taxing structures at all local, county, state and federal levels; revise the entire criminal and justice systems that allow murderers to spend less time in prison than most white collar crimes or segregate all sexual offender, regardless to the individual case to a lifetime of registry and punitive treatment while allowing often highly more serious crimes to escape serious sentences, etc etc etc etc

Wow, it must be scary living in your little world where everyone is out to get you, particularly the police who protect you from criminals.

Oh please. The police wouldn't have been there if not for a neighbor complaining about loud music. Trudeau could have kept his teen-drinking party going right there, but someone (whoever turned up the volume on the music) didn't respect the rights of others.

If I were Trudeau, I'd be thanking my good buddy Steve Hilbert for suggesting that the police "go get a warrant" instead of trying to work things out in a mature manner. Trudeau could have acted surprised by seeing underage drinking, admonish the kids on the spot, put all the booze away, and close the party immediately. The police probably would have written him some sort of ticket, and been on their way. But no, Trudeau had to first bribe them (how can we make this go away?) and then was uncooperative.

His best bet right now is to lay down in front of the judge, pay a big fine, and do community service while on probation ... and make sure that everyone who was underaged and drinking at his party do the same (and some already have).

Spoken like a true criminal. You figure you lie in court all the time. Surely the people who protect the public from you must do the same.

Pathetic.
