Unemployment rate nears 20 per cent

THOUSANDS of school leavers will struggle to find jobs in the new year, with one of the nation's top youth bodies warning the numbers of unemployed teenagers was rising to levels not seen since the height of the GFC.

How much more proof do we need that this and all previous Governments of Australia since Whitlam are completely useless. They, the Liberal and Labor Governments lapped up the windfall provided by the Resources Boom, thanks to Chinese industry.

Starting from the feckless Government of Bob Hawke and his "Worlds Best Treasurer", back in the 80's describing Australia as heading toward a Banana Republic because all Australia could do, "...was dig up some rocks..".

What has happened since Paul Keating coined the phrase Banana Republic?

Far from developing a relevant useful economy for services and goods, the last vestiges of manufacturing has been wiped out by the hasty reduction of protection of local production with Australia's complete reliance on imports. The CSIRO and other Science organisations were largely destroyed to keep American and British financial interests happy. The single desk for wheat export was dismantled to undermine the Family Farmer. Since the abolition of the single desk Farmers are selling their Farms held for generations by the Family to shadowy Foreign Agribusinesses. As a result Australia's food security is at risk.

No Australian is safe while the establishment is in Government and continue to rule. They are proven failures for Australians and proven winners for all sorts foreign interests.

If, there's twenty percent youth unemployed today there'll soon be Forty percent and after that, head toward 100% unemployment.

Don't believe me, just wait and see. The youth of this Country are being deliberately sacrificed for Multinational business extracting the Countries wealth, and the last remaining lucrative business in Australia for parasitic local industries, selling residency to Foreign Students and property investors, in an environment when Australian Youth cannot get a job.

There's no point being angry there's no time. These Governments only care about themselves anyway. There's only one other possibility, connecting with fellow Australians to forge Unity not lead by Governments but by the grass roots based on a creed of mutual responsibility.

Yes I agree with ya verse! That why ill be voting for the katter party in 2013! You might laugh but I believe Bob Katter and his partyshould be given the balance of power! Both the major parties are ruining this country! neither the major parties deserve to be in power. The greens are idiots and make no sence! I want another party to change how things are done in government.

These days, the risk of not taking a risk is Greater than the risk of doing something unknown and new.

Voting for Katter is trying something new instead of following the same failures and sell outs and I agree with that.

OK, Katter's not part of the "Established" self-servers but before joining the current Governmement, neither was Tony Windsor, Member for New England. Yet, he's fallen in with the Minority Labor Government and the Greens for a seat at the Government trough. You might say he's doing it for he Electorate but many in his Electorate are unhappy with the present Government. I don't know the system is broken.

There has to be a more participatory way to prevent our so called Representatives getting into the seat of power and suiting themselves, riding rough shot over what the people want. If, the society accepts and is required to participate then the resources of the Nation can be properly used to provide a future for our Young instead of being stolen by kleptomaniacs. As the prime traitors Hawke and Keating did with the Commonwealth Bank.
