Jul 29, 2013 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: EDGE

A recently released study by the Williams Institute confirms there is no difference in the behavioral outcomes of adopted children raised in same-sex households when compared to those raised by heterosexual couples.

Dr. Marks reviewed studies published between 1980 and 2005 cited by the 2005 official APA brief which asserted that: "Not a single study has found children of lesbian or gay parents to be disadvantaged in any significant respect relative to children of heterosexual parents."
"The jury is still out on whether being raised by same-sex parents disadvantages children," explains Marks. "However, the available data on which the APA draws its conclusions, derived primarily from small convenience samples, are insufficient to support a strong generalized claim either way."
Of the 59 studies referenced in the APA brief, more than three-quarters were based on small, non-representative, non-random samples that did not include any minority individuals or families; nearly half lacked a heterosexual comparison group; and few examined outcomes that extend beyond childhood such as intergenerational poverty, educational attainment, and criminality, which are a key focus of studies on children of divorce, remarriage, and cohabitation. In other words, "A lack of high quality data leaves the most significant questions unaddressed and unanswered," concludes Marks.
Yet you are defending a "study" in which the person organizing it admitted to lying.

Even if that were true, it makes the deception of lesbian studies okay?

Do you just exist on stereotypes? Do you know anything that is not a stereotype?

I just destroyed your argument without a stereotype. You ignored dealing with it, and only responded to the stereotype.

That's blonde behavior.

No, I'm sure I just compared the latest, largest and most scientific study to one that claimed a 2.25 year survey of 75 toddlers predicts future outcomes.
Fool.
Moreover, you are willing to throw children under the bus to support a imposter marriage and a fake family.
Despicable depravity.
The Regnerus study didn't actually compare gay couples to straight couples in their ability to raise children, and was widely panned in peer review, so how can it apply here?

Really, how many gay couples and their kids do you actually KNOW? Have you ever met ONE such family?

That's all they have, because they have never actually MET a few gay couples and their kids.

You just proved yourself wrong.
Re-read what you've posted, are you finally accepting reality and admitting that your favourite study is invalid?

Of course not.
You directly contradict your own statements and then you spin Kmart twirl.

Oh how I miss laughing at your incredibly stupid posts!
*hugs*
Thanks for the constant entertainment :)

It's funny how Kmart like to demean even hair colour, which has nothing to do with intellect.
Ratiocination is not a word in Kmart's dictionary.

The Regnerus study was unable to find many long term ss couples with children. Especially gay couples.

Who I know and what a study discovers are two different things.

Moreover, you want to falsely judge the most significant study to date, and ignore the ridiculous claims of the one this thread is about.

Wonder why...

Laughs on you.

The Marks study was published in conjunction with the Regnerus study. It accentuated the difference between lesbian studies and the Regnerus study.

Snicker hug.

You only further expose it.

You have a hissy fit about a classic cultural tease, but ignore your stupidity being exposed.

Yes he did, he included single mothers as lesbians, this was what red flagged him and earned him the black mark forever attached to his name.

Homosexuals shouldn't even be allowed anywhere near children, let alone be parents. That is sick and constitutes child abuse! Anyone in their right mind who has any sense of decency, morality or cares about the wlfare of children would know this.

This whole "gay marriage" and "gay parenting" is a mockery. It's nothing more than a game of make-believe like little girls having a tea party.
