If certain "christians" don't like being stereotyped as bigots just like the racists of the 60's civil rights movement, then maybe they need to stop fulfilling the stereotype.

Question for them:

To paraphrase the words of Hulk Hogan "whatcha gonna do when Judge–O-mania runs wild on you?”

Matthew 25:31-46
The Sheep and the Goats
31 “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. 32 All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.
34 “Then the King will say to those on his right,‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
37 “Then the righteous will answer him,‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
40 “The King will reply,‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
41 “Then he will say to those on his left,‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43 I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’
44 “They also will answer,‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’
45 “He will reply,‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’
46 “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”

Sound more like the Catholic church. I can only blame the child mind molesting church for some of my faults and reason that I did not excel in life, had I been raised Jewish or in an Eastern Asian religion.

Nice to see that it's everyone else's fault your life is so terrible.

I was jumped by 5 black guys carrying tire irons. They were out gay bashing. I spent 3 days in Baltimore's Shock Trauma center unconscious. When I came to the doctors were discussing removing one of my eyes because the orbital socket was so damaged. I had a broken jaw that was wired shut for 56 days. I had 7 skull fractures.

I blame the guys for that not the black community. And I got on with my life and became stronger.

If you were molested yes the RCC is partly to blame. But you can't justify blaming them for your whole life and all your troubles.

I blame the Bible and Christianity for that homophobia. Those black men were not born hating gays, they learned it, and they learned it from the Con-artist at the front of their church. And if they didn't go to church they learned it from their family members who did.

So now I'm a tyrant because I reject your classifying every Christian into the same group that gave us the KKK. Even gay christians like me.

You would. Frankly I only blame them. Not their families, not whatever church they go to.

But as you so often demonstrate it's easier using stereotypes than it is dealing with actual people and situations.

Well, IFI, I'm just glad that we've been conducting our half of this "culture war" in your fine tradition. We are fast learners.

And we'll win.

"Homosexuality is A tyrannical, oppressive, poisonous cultural force" ... because ...?

Love, commitment and diversity are strange virtues to condemn aren't they? Those who would condemn them are what exactly? Wise? Moral? Inspired? Spiritual?

Let's face it ... they are only thinking about ... SEX. In fact, they think about it more than ANY other group I know of.

Hey you guys .... get some therapy!!!!!

And in case you haven't you noticed ... the rest of us are doing fine. The problem is ... YOU.

Evidently, your skull damage left you unable to read. I don't blame the catholic church for ALL of my faults, as in my post.

mea culpa.
Came across this today and want to pass it on. Not for anything we've discussed. Just thought you'd appreciate it as much as I did. Sent from a friend on Facebook:
"Going to church doesn't make you any more a christian than going to a garage makes you a car. Your beliefs don't make you a better person, your behavior does.
Your words mean nothing if your actions are the complete opposite. Having true faith in whatever you believe must be shown through actions; belief is only half the battle.
Let your dreams be bigger than your fears, your actions louder than your words, and your faith stronger than your feelings."
