As the snowflakes came down thick and heavy, hundreds of participants in an anti-abortion rally in Palatine held signs, cheered on speakers, prayed and sang as the occasional car honked in approval.

Again the media mischaracterizes the March for Life. An objective reporter would have referred to it for what it is, Pro-life. The march addresses the issues of abortion, adoption, and care for the elderly and handicapped as well as for the pregnant and post abortive mother- all of whom should be cared for and loved. This is what "pro-life" means and what was represented in the march, and what is represented in all "Marches for Life". Perhaps they should have interviewed one of the post-abortive mothers who participated. "Hundreds" of marchers? Why not report the actual number which was 750- up from 500 last year (yes they do record the number of marchers so if you're not sure when writing the article call for facts). "An occasional" car honked in approval? MANY honked in approval- perhaps the snow fall muffled the sounds for the reporter, or the editor changed what was written? A little honesty on the part of the media is in order.
