Interesting how that I can post ACTUAL FACTS. And all >you< and your fellow traitors can come up with is treasonous conjecture. Why do you insist on committing treason and aiding and abetting the LIE?

Why do you insist on LYING?-

Released: May 7, 2013
Gun Homicide Rate Down 49% Since 1993 Peak; Public Unaware
Pace of Decline Slows in Past Decade
http://www.pewsocialtrends.org/2013/05/07/gun...

And this while firearm ownership has SOARED:

More than 100 million such checks have been made in the last decade
http://www.fbi.gov/about-us/cjis/nics

PROVING beyond ALL shadow of doubt, that MORE GUNS = LESS CRIME.

In 2011, the latest figure available from the Centers for Disease Control,

Accidental discharge 851
Suicide 19,766
Homicide 11,101
Undetermined Intent 222

Deducting firearms used for suicide = 12174 (Because they would have used other means if firearms had been unavailable).

Deducting 74% because of gang related homicides = 1218 (Because criminals don't submit to 'background checks', and will always get their weapons illegally).

So, when REALITY is factored in, around 2291 people die per year from firearms.

And then there's THIS little interesting FACT:

Released: May 7, 2013
Gun Homicide Rate Down 49% Since 1993 Peak; Public Unaware
Pace of Decline Slows in Past Decade
http://www.pewsocialtrends.org/2013/05/07/gun...

During that same period, gun ownership had SKYROCKETED. PROVING once and for all: MORE GUNS = LESS CRIME.

How many people die because of other violent means? 2011 FBI Data:

Knives or cutting instruments 1,694
Blunt objects (clubs, hammers, etc.) 496
Personal weapons (hands, fists, feet, etc.) 728

Those are the FACTS, traitor. It's your little buddies, the gang-bangers, causing all of the crime. And the ONLY reason they have been able to do so much damage. Is because of cowards like you, that cried for 'gun control'. And allowed all of the Constitutionally perverse 'bans' in the major population centers. Support for gun control slips below 50 percent after Senate vote
By Justin Sink - 04/23/13 11:16 AM ET

Fewer than 50 percent of Americans say they support stricter gun controls, according to a survey released Tuesday — the first time since December's Newtown, Conn., elementary school shooting that less than half of those surveyed say they would back a new gun law.

According to the USA Today survey, 49 percent of Americans say they support passing a new gun control law while 45 percent oppose new legislation. That's down from 55 percent who supported new regulations in April and 61 percent in February.

Last week, Senate Democrats failed to win the 60 votes necessary to move forward on a compromise bill that would have expanded background checks and instituted new penalties on so-called straw purchasers. Senate leaders had already acknowledged they were unlikely to win enough votes on an assault weapons ban or legislation limiting the size of magazine capacities — two suggestions of President Obama's gun violence commission.

Durham, N.C.— Durham police have ruled a double fatal shooting at an office complex near South Square Wednesday afternoon a domestic murder-suicide.

Police said Millicent Lavon Blair-Arnett, 40, and Anthony Carl Arnett, 45, both of Durham, were divorced from each other.

Around 3:20 p.m., police were called to the Duke Forest Place office building in the 3300 block of Durham-Chapel Hill Boulevard, where they found Blair-Arnett lying in the parking lot. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Arnett shot himself when officers arrived, police said. He was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

Investigators say the former couple had two children together.

A man who works at a nearby auto shop told WRAL News that he heard a man and woman arguing, then heard gunshots. When he went outside to see what was going on, he saw Arnett standing over his ex-wife's body.

Never in the History of the USA has 90 percent of all Americans supported " universal " background checks.

This type of dictatorial background check would stop a father or mother passing on a firearm through gift or will to their own children without BATFE and or FBI , DHS approval.

The inmates are running the asylum in these gun control debates without laws this country would turn into an anarchist state.I believe that is exactly what the gun addicts want to happen. Then they would be able to patrol and control anybody who does not agree with their views all in the name of 2nd amendment rights.Of course "freedom of speech is also a right which they want to stifle when it comes to gun laws.

90 percent of Americans want expanded background checks on guns. Why isn’t this a political slam dunk?

By Scott Clement, Published: April 3, 2013 at 11:10 amE-mail the writer

Nine in 10 Americans support expanding background checks on gun purchases in a recent Washington Post-ABC News poll, an extraordinary level of agreement on a political issue and a finding that’s been duplicated in nearly every major public poll.

Liar, liar, pants on fire.

Most (if not all) legislation requiring background checks exempt transfer of firearms to immediate family members.

USA TODAY Poll: Public support for gun control ebbs
Susan Page, USA TODAY8:14 a.m. EDT April 23, 2013

WASHINGTON -- Four months after the shooting rampage at Sandy Hook Elementary School, a USA TODAY Poll finds support for a new gun-control law ebbing as prospects for passage on Capitol Hill seem to fade.

Americans are more narrowly divided on the issue than in recent months, and backing for a bill has slipped below 50%, the poll finds. By 49%-45%, those surveyed favor Congress passing a new gun-control law. In an NBC/Wall Street Journal poll in early April, 55% had backed a stricter gun law, which was down from 61% in February.

In United States v. Cruikshank, 92 U.S. 542 (1875), the court ruled the following:

"The second amendment declares that it shall not be infringed, but this, as has been seen, means no more than that it shall not be infringed by Congress. This is one of the amendments that has no other effect than to restrict the powers of the national government, leaving the people to look for their protection against any violation by their fellow citizens of the rights it recognizes, to what is called, in The City of New York v. Miln, 11 Pet. 139, the "powers which relate to merely municipal legislation, or what was, perhaps, more properly called internal police," "not surrendered or restrained" by the Constitution of the United States."

And, although many parts of Cruikshank have been overturned by later decisions, it is still relied upon with some authority in portions. Cruikshank was also reaffirmed in Presser v. Illinois in 1886.

That being the case concerning the view of the court concerning the second amendment at that time. And for more than 100 years thereafter. Then how can the court reconcile the following?:

1934 National Firearms Act

1938 Federal Firearms Act

1968 Gun Control Act

1972 Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms created

1986 Law Enforcement Officers Protection Act

1990 Crime Control Act

1994 Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act

Did not the federal government totally disregard the ruling of the court? Not to mention the express prohibition found within the “Restrictive clause” of the Second Article of Amendment to the United State Constitution itself:

“the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.”

I contend it can be firmly held that the federal government has indeed disregarded the prior ruling of the court. In addition to the clear restriction found within the second amendment itself.

Why? Has the court joined in a long running conspiracy with the other branches of the federal government. And this in order to deprive part or all of We The People of our preexisting Constitutionally secured right? It certainly appears that way, does it not? Especially after considering that the right to keep and bear arms was intended as the final checkpoint in our system of checks and balances.

What has happened to our intended system of “checks and balances”?

Funny how we did NOT have a problem UNTIL Constitutionally perverse 'gun control', ISN'T IT?

And, how that crime is FALLING as Constitutionally perverse 'gun control' gets OVERTURNED.

Thus proving BEYOND ALL SHADOW OF DOUBT - MORE GUNS = less crime.
