Although the circumstances were horrific and sad; this nation’s culture of guns that led to 20 beautiful kids being gunned down at Sandy Hook, along with the thousands of other Americans every year that are killed in similar fashion…
It is very moving to see that President Obama inspires children to write in and participate in finding solutions to this problem. It was political brilliance for the White House to put the kids up there with the President so as to bring into focus the fact that there were young kids that were killed at Sandy hook, and there are kids that are affected by this every.

Thank God that we are just moments away from Obama and Biden being officially sworn in for their 2nd term.

. Willie Brown, Former SF Mayor and African American left winger noted in his column in the SF Chronicle today that Obama is already a "lame duck" president. In another article Obama's approval rating is now 48% while the NRAs is 57%. No mandate here.
