Docs want sex out of prime time

In a new policy statement, the American Academy of Pediatrics says children are bombarded with inappropriate sexual content in media.

I guess I was so happy to see men squirm over ED ads after having had to slink away while tampons, douches and vaginal creams were playing on tv that I did not think of the children.

There is nothing wrong with generic but you can just ask your doctor to make the prescription for a generic version of the drug you have to take. There is a lot potentially wrong with online drug orders. The factories where your drugs are made could be in a third world country where there are few quality control standards for starters.Not too long ago an expose was done on the company that makes Cold FX, which is a well known product and not a controlled substance. They showed the exterior of the factory where the product is produced in China. You would not eat food that was packed there never mind take a drug made there.In past years vitamin supplements etc made in third world countries were contaminated and people actually died from taking them.

While I agree completely with keeping our children from being exposed to certain things before they're ready, I also think that as a country we tend to over do it. Many other countries around the world don't censor their media as we do. Nudity, etc. are all a part of everyday life. I think that as Americans we tend to be a bit too conservative. I wouldn't take my six year old to the strip club, but I do think we could stand to loosen up a little.
