Yeah that's true, that's because when people get their Licence to carry a gun usually R thinking of themselves not others...

Like some kids do try. The young should have known better that to Abuse his mother... Even though the two did those things don't mean that they would have been screwed. Some kids that come from broken homes R the ones that makes A big difference in the world for the good, And some end up Jacked Up, but not All.... I wonder will we ever know the full Story... Yes, it is true that some go on to do great things, but humans are humans and it seems they run in similar cycles. The best predictor of future behavior is past behavior. Very seldom is it seen that a person goes on to be better. The norm is to repeat learned behavior. I knew a woman who had been brutally sexually abused throughout her childhood. There were fortysome other victims by the time someone turned this man in. The woman I knew had been married twenty years at the time of the arrest. She and her husband had a son and lived in the same house for almost there entire marriage (they lived in an apartment the first four years). She worked the same job and had promotions. Out of the forty + victims she is the only one that had a "normal" life and the only one who wasn't either on drugs, a stripper, hospitalized, continuing the pattern, etc ... The D.A. pushed for her testimony in the case against the abuser. They saw her as the only creditable witness. In fact, she was one of only a few survivors to testify.

That's 1, Joyce Meyer the pastor was sexually Abused by her father for yrs. she went through alot if mental issues, but now til this day her voice is restoring Women All over the World:)

I leave A open door for my children to talk to me, but I also tell them if they want to trust someone else to talk to they can. As long as they R being safe and the person that their trusting don't take Advantage of them... Instead of harboring their emotions... Honestly sometimes our kids probably won't feel comfortable talkin too us... IDK it hasn't happen with me & my boys...I just wished they wouldn't have went back, it dosent make sence... I again, disagree. If they didn't feel these neighbors were nice, why did they choose to go to their house? What doesn't make sense is all the blind assumptions. I have given children a positive word only to have them steal things out of my garden. It doesn't mean I'll stop. But it does mean it is not always helpful. Also, the history of cps being in their lives and the fact the children were removed from the home must mean someone cared enough to call. I know the article states that one time it was because mom didn't pick the boy up from the detention center, but what about the ither time cps got involved?

You can make all the excuses you want, but the bottom line is that if the neighbor had let those kids in the house, they would most likely be alive today. May karma kick all of YOU who blame children of an unstable and violent home for their own deaths, along with the heartless neighbors who let them die. I'm done with this thread, it is full of cold-hearted beasts who make excuses for ignoring bleeding children on your porch when the fact is that there IS no excuse. I sincerely hope none of you have children, no child should be raised to ignore the suffering of others.

" HI LITTLE GIRL , MY CAR BROKE DOWN , CAN I COME IN AND USE YOUR PHONE ?" Don't bother. All this poster sees is blah, blah, blah and just repeats the same answer. There are so many possible variables. How do we know there were not children in the neighbors home? How do we know if there are children there that they weren't bullied by these kids. These suggestions are out there, but so is pretending to know all about these "heartless" neighbor based on a news article only offering tidbits.

I definitely don't blame the children, all i'm saying is that it's not Fair to blame the neighbors either. That Husband called 911. It Probably was too late, but he eventually grabbed his Gun & opened the Door... Its n the First Article. So the man did do something...

It would seem most of you have no idea the amount of control an abuser has over their victims. Count your lucky stars.
