Let me tell you what a gift is Mr. Romney:

A gift is being allowed the opportunity to live in a mansion in France while other young men your age are being drafted into a Vietnam war -- one that you insisted was for a just cause. A gift is being a fortunate son. You have five of them of which not a SINGLE one of has volunteered to serve this country in any time of need. Neither you, nor your boys have ever so much as peeled a potato or swabbed a deck for America, but you've done a swell job of looking after yourselves. THAT sir is a gift. Be grateful. Don't balk at others when you have been given the gifts yourself.

Really? We call that "black" or "African-American" in my community. But if not an African-American, why did this young Romney supporter from a Republican district have this to say about the President?

I'm not asking you to be accountable for her. Just be realistic about who our President is, and how he is seen by many ordinary citizens.

Ask the rest of the teabaggers. Now that you don't have Allen West and the pizza man, just how many folks of color do you ever see at a teabag {klan} meeting?

A sad, ignorant and terrible thing she did, similar to the death threats Romney received. There are plenty of nuts to go around.

Everyone has opportunity. The so called "gifts" he has was NOT from the government. He did not get "free gifts" at the govenments/taxpayers expense. That's the difference. Be grateful you live in a country where we have opportunity, but don't hate others because you think they have it better than you. That kind of thinking holds you back.

My point is that she obviously disagreed with your assertion that "Obama is half black/half white." She did not call him that at all. She called him a "n****r."

I'd wager that there are probably millions of Republicans all over the country who'd agree with her.

Maybe, just maybe, that sort of attitude is a large part of why 73% of Hispanic/Latino voters ignored the Republican message and voted for Obama a couple weeks ago.

Don't delude yourself about how most minorities tend to view the Republican brand, Canon.

You were just shown a news link which documented exactly how a bigoted Republican supporter is comfortable "making it about skin color."

You can *try* to wish reality away, Canon, but it has a way of reasserting itself at will.

A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, which is always followed by a dictatorship.

The average age of the world's greatest civilizations from the beginning of history has been about 200 years. During those 200 years, these nations always progressed through the following sequence:

From bondage to spiritual faith;
From spiritual faith to great courage;
From courage to liberty;
From liberty to abundance;
From abundance to selfishness;
From selfishness to complacency;
From complacency to apathy;
From apathy to dependence;
From dependence back into bondage.Two centuries ago, a somewhat obscure Scotsman named Tytler made this profound observation

Wrong. Nothing wrong with appreciating the accomplishments of one's own people. Remember, Obama was supposed to somehow be a hopeless failure
*An unacceptable 1 in 6 people at or below the poverty level.

*Almost 50 million on food stamps and his administration is recruiting more!

*Average family income DOWN $5,000 per year.

*25 million people are unemployed with an UNDERSTATED rate of 8%.

The democrats promise to take wealth and property from those with and give it to those without, coupled with a national media in full Obama protection mode, insured his reelected.

We now have a nation of Obama-Sheep bleating for their Obama-Care, Obama-Stash and Obama-Phones.

Yes, thank you for the startling revelation that racism still exists...on BOTH SIDES of the aisle. If you want to see democrat racism, look no further than the White House (Biden) and the Senate (Reid).

We see your side use its full deck of race cards, even when racism is NOT the underlying issue.

p.s.- Did you know "Chicago" is racist code for "lots of black people"?

But it is interesting that you admit to playing a childish tit-for-tat game here with the two Presidents, which in fact has been obvious for some time. Almost EVERYTHING we accused Bush of, or laughed at him for, has been flung back at us in regard to Obama, whether it made sense or not.

Remarkably childish of the Right...
then what are you complaining about. What is good for the goose is also good for the gander.

NO, you are the one with the skin color issue. To me, it's a idea/policy issue. When you keep the topic about skin color rather than idea/polices you are NOT addressing the FACT that there are those that just simply do not agree with the presidents policies. It's real simple. It would be nice if you could get past the skin color and really hear the issues. Again, get OVER the skin color.

With the exception of New Mexico, the ten poorest states all voted for Romney. So much for out of touch Mitten's nitwit theory about losing due to "gifts from Obama."
1. Mississippi
2. West Virginia
3. Arkansas
4. Kentucky
5. Alabama
6. Tennessee
7. Louisiana
8. New Mexico (Blue)
9. South Carolina
10. Oklahoma
