Well it's time for the Air Show again, always a fun family friendly event. No flybys from Warner Robbins or Bradley Fighting vehicle displays this year though, no money available for that kind of stuff. Signs of the times I suppose.

Love the way this show is just part of being in the city, interesting air show all across the North and East side. I caught a scene of several WWI style "biplanes" whizzing over Gentian Blvd. & Reese Road yesterday on the way to the post office.

It's very good Columbus is able to have events like this. There are not many community events that happen around here.
Maybe with your new whitewater course, there will be events organized around that venue too.

Seemed to be a lot less action in the sky today than past years.

The show has really declined in the last few years, plus the show did not offer of a military discount for tickets this year. When I asked about why the person at the gate said it because the Army pulled out of the show. That is fine if you donít give the discount but donít just because Fort Benning did not want to come to the show. Two, if you donít to give the discount donít have an airshow honors veterans and all they have giving to this country. The MC of the show kept talking about how we should help disable veterans and veterans, one way is give discount tickets to vets.

Most events in this area are declining, no one has the money to much anymore either.
I wonder if the City of Columbus will have the Friday night Spring concert series this year down on Broad, its always well attended and free of charge.

Agreed, it was a bit lackluster this year.
