It's always nice when the idiot dies. A shame about the kids, but it's probably best for her kid. She no doubt passed along her stupidity.

Wish this would happen to more blabbing & texting drivers.

Hey what about ONE adult being allowed to transport that many kids on a long trip? What could possibly go wrong?

Best Practices for Group Day Trips:
* Each trip should have at least TWO adult chaperones.
* If a chaperone becomes sick or unavailable during an emergency, another chaperone should be available.
* If a trip includes both females and males, there should be a chaperone of each gender.

Jamie, best practices are good common sense for ALL types of group day trips, and pre-planning is the key!

Are you blaming the mother for this accident? I surely hope not! It's called an accident for a reason. Sometimes there's no pre-planning, you wake up and decide to go somewhere and the next thing you know your kids invite a couple of friends and your off to the amusement park or wherever, and a unfortunate accident occurs. This same thing could happen to anyone even someone using your "best practices and pre-planning " notions.

The driver was likely not paying attention to her driving. The only reason it's called an accident is because she more than likely didn't do it intentionally. But it's still her fault.

It's amazing how many fools try to shift responsibility for their actions and even the actions of others.

Actually "crash" is the new terminology because many people believe "accident" makes it wrongly appear as though crashes are inevitable rather than preventable. In truth, the majority of auto fatalities and injuries could be prevented if it were not for distracted driving such as texting, drunk driving, and/or speeding. All three are clearly deliberate actions.

I don't see your point being verified at all. Some people like to get up and go, nothing wrong with that, what a dull world you must live in to preplan everything you do! I guess you pre plan your shits too! HeHe!

Spontaneity has its time and its place.
