I am humbly pleading with the low income authorities about receiving low income housing. As I have stated before, I live with my 70-year-old mother in a small one bedroom Senior apartment. It is a difficult situation for her and for me being a 51-year-old man with a low income for the cost of today's living and my healt prevents me for heavy duty work. If I could do better, I would. Please consider me as you make your decisions on who will receive help. It will be greatly appreciated. respectfully submitting my comment to you...and Thank You.

Maryliz Paulson heads the voucher program for the Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency. She explained there's space for 10,000 people on the list now because "we continue to lose families every month because opeople move on or they become self-sufficient," Paulson said. "They no longer need the housing assistance. So we need people to fill in behind them."
Why are taxpayers subsidizing this program? Double taxation to cover for people not making enough money? Plus these people qualify for Supplemental Social Security income, another word for welfare. UNFAIR!!!

DeeDee.....You seem to be able to afford a broadband connection, eh? Why should we subsidize you, just because moved here without having a job or any means to take care of yourself? How does that equate to becoming a problem for the California/Sacramento State Taxpayer?

Do you know anything at all about this woman or what she may have gone through? Did you ever stop to think that maybe she had no other choice but to move out here without being fully prepared. Everyone needs help at one point or another in their lifetime. Anyone who says that they have never received any kind of help in their entire life, is lying.
