What training, if any, are teachers required to take to learn about ADHD/ADD?
I live in Minnesota & would like some imput and opinions on this topic.
It also relates to the whole bullying issues that have recently been all over the news as if it's a new issue that needs to be dealt with. It's because it's allowed to go as far as it does that it has become this.
And my main issue is until the TEACHERS THEMSELVES, stop bullying students, this will never end but only worsen.
Now, I do not mean to insult all the GREAT teachers that are out there. But those teachers are also caught in the middle and bullied as well.
I've seen this happen, have proof of it happening, proof I have tried starting groups to deal with these issues, and proof of how some teachers deal with, and treat students and parents when any type of bullying issue is brought to their attention. Its very very sad people.
Sad as it is, NO MATTER WHAT ANYONE DOES, this will always be an issue.
