Kids are so stupid. What is wrong with kids? When I was 18, even 16, I def knew the difference between right and wrong. We did some stupid stuff. But not deliberately damaging/hurting people or their property.

One of the fathers came forward on patch, he said and I quote "in a moment of weakness" and also "due to peer pressure" are the reasons his son did this...while I think that is a load of horse crap, I do have to commend him on putting himself out there as the father. He did say that his son will be paying for the damages. You know how these kids are today sssophieee, you've seen them outside of yin yin. They don't give two sh-ts about what people have to pay to fix their: vandalism, god awful graffitti (seriously, any of you dumb a$$ kids that tag bathrooms or city property that might be on this thread, either do a good job with your graffitti or dont do it at all. EBP aka. East bay prodigies (yeah f-cking right) is one I have been seeing everywhere and their tag looks like a first grader did it.) Anywho I say these kids deserve a public shaming...underage or not I don't care, they made an adult decision to fire a pellet gun from their vehicle and destroy peoples property and they deserve to recieve the maximum punishment. Kids that are "in a moment of weakness" or "under peer pressure" wouldn't do the same thing a week straight. All I know is if I was driving behind that car and saw them breaking car windows, I'd PIT those sorry sacks of crap.

MW, we aren't much older than these kids. But there is such a difference in our generations.

it's interesting isn't it? All of the stupid things that I did had nothing to do with other peoples property, and whenever we did do something dumb it was out of the public eye.

Yeah same here. Even six years later, looking back at the things I did in high school, I can't believe I was so stupid. But everything I did was harmful to just myself, or my own property. We never did anything to deliberately ruin or harm others or their property. We just put ourselves in some kinda dangerous situations. Kids today have no conscience or guidance. I don't know what would prompt a group of kids to think it's okay to shoot out dozens of windows. And not one of them spoke up and said, "hey guys, I don't think this is a good idea." and stopped it. I mean, if you want to shoot a BB gun, why not go out on Mines rd or up by Del Valle and shoot at some trees or fences? If my 16/18 year old self and friends acquired a BB gun, I really feel like that would've been the group consensus. It would've never crossed any of our minds to shoot at cars. I don't know why kids only six years younger than myself are so screwed up.
