Golly, a Democrat runnibf as a Democrat, and holding a 'town meeting', who'd have guessed?

Bellamy lost a lot of voters when he supported letting freeloaders stay on the dole.

Maybe when he gets his drivers license straightened out he can give the freeloaders a ride to the polls

What a shame the the C'ville community may elect a someone of the African American community that is mostly style and very little substance. Mr Bellamy has made statement about the so-called academic advancement of his H.Y.P.E students that just are not true. And he is taking credit for participating in long-standing events at Westhaven and other places that others started long before he arrived. And he did not even develop the first H.Y.P.E. proposal that got monies from the city...someone of staff did his work. While I'm not confronting his heart intention, I do have concerned about his methods. And don't get me started in the promises he is already making to black leaders and others as he has determned that he is already on council. He is very young and immature in his thinking and thoughts, just what our city council needs! Come on, I support diversity just not at the cost of quality.
