Something you don't hear anymore is that islam is the "fastest growing religion in America".

I suspect that has to do with muslims showing their true nature to the world - people no longer think muslims are Alec Guinness and Anthony Quinn.

I suspect when it was true, it meant that each year there were eleven converts to other religions and twelve converts to islam.

Of all the people I've known in my life none became devotees of the moon god of Babylon and Mecca.

RIO...this may surprise you but most of us know about the misdeeds of the church, crusades, martiin luther, witch hunts, Spanish inquisition, european colonialism.we accepted this history long ago. What is worrying to many in the west is islam being forced down our throats by islamic fanatics, this is just one more step in the process of islamatizing the west and I blame our open and liberal society's for allowing this. History is one thing, but your religion is filth and I fear your people will sneak it in through the back door.
I think there are a lot of misguided educators. History is a long narrative and includes all genders races and religions women and blacks get their own months bee as a focus. However the impacts of all religions genders and races are woven into history. A big picture of how the pieces fit should threaten no one.

I cant believe that it will harm any to get a larger picture of how religion in general haw shaped the world we share.

Most of the ones you saw probably weren't illegal. There are many Hispanics that are legal citizens, even born here to parents who are legal citizens. Nice that you display your bigotry so openly though.
I think you see what you want to see, and not what really is. Negative people like yourself often have that experience. When you look for the bad in life, surely you find it. Every slightly dark person becomes an 'illegal' to you, and that's just not fact. I sure didn't have any problems finding English speakers in the South.
But since you had such a horrible time here, perhaps next time you should take a trip to somalia or pakistan or afghanistan. I'm sure you'd fit in much better in one of the islamic 3rd world cesspools! LOL
Where did I say that every hispanic I saw was illegal?
Just show me where. Not my fault if you cannot read a post without jumping the gun...

I simply said that it would be very difficult to profile illegals in the Southern states, where so many hispanics live.
What's the difference between a legal and an illegal hispanic in the street?

But you did say that you didn't see many hispanics in the South, when 25% of the population is hispanic, in 3 1/2 years.
I supposed you kept your sun glasses on all the time! LOL
I think you don't see what you don't want to see

True, and if I happened to be home, they would have a little hole in their forehead, and a giant gaping exit hole in the back of their head.

Rio.No you didn't.It's not the difference between legal vs illegal on the street but at ballot box and welfare office.Population statistics are misleading as I said before.Caucasian for one reason,Hispanic for another. They also don't represent migratory patterns for employment when the economy takes a downturn. In short, being a tourist in a country hardly makes you qualified to to speak about population demographics.

Officially, there are 16.3% of Americans who are hispanic in the States.
Mexicans live mostly in California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas, where they make up to 25% of the population, but there are also non-Mexican hispanics living in the Southern states.
Florida has also a large contingent of hispanics, mostly Cubans.
But you spent "3 and a half years traveling in the Southern states" and didn't see that many. Remarkable!
I have been driving in the South a few times, and stopped along the road sometimes to find no one speaking English in some places, and yes, I can see the difference between a hispanic and a tourist with a tan!
I suspect that with the illegals, 1 in 5 American is now hispanic. Feel free to deny...
Yes there idiot and you know more about Unitet states than you do about England funny .

We would have stayed in Destin but they didn't like the dogs, they have a 40lb weight limit, and mine far exceed that. The place we did stay at had several miles of beach where I could walk them, that was fun.

I was out just after the tide was receding one day, and the older dog walked up to a horseshoe crab that was upside down. It waved its pincers at him and he jumped 5 feet straight up! He gets annoyed when I roll around on the ground laughing at him.

Rio has issues. He's just an unhappy little dude. He probably wouldn't have any fun at Disney World either.

With a registered account, that doesn't happen. They are free, and really easy to set up. Just use a dedicated email for it, and don't ever give that email out to anyone here. You can get free email accounts at google, hotmail, etc. Plus you can set a topix account to private so the trolls can't follow you to different threads/forums.
