Here is the petition warrant article from 2011 that was passed by a vote of 1063 "YES" to 349 "NO."
Article 37 - Citizens Petition on the 2011 Town Warrant read: Upon the petition of Margaret G. Fogg and other legal voters of the Town. "To see if the Town of Seabrook will vote to ban all sales of Synthetic Cannabinoids better known as but not limited to K2, Salvia, or Spice. These substances at present time have no age limit and can be purchased by children. If this Article passes it will make it illegal to sell Synthetic Cannabinoids substances within the Town of Seabrook as of the March 8, 2011 Election." (Submitted by petition)(Majority vote required)(Recommended by the Board of Selectmen).
Khan 1164 votes for Selectman and he accepted his seat. He forgot about the 1063 Yes votes for article 37 and that my friend is the Road block. Wonder if his store still sells the stuff probably not but he was in no way going to stop the other conveinant stores from selling the stuff that is killing our kids. The demand for zero tollerance starts at the top ie our Selectmen and it is high time we make a change. Food for thought: Seabrook Police must live in Town that might help and after all the firemen have to live here.

The Watchdogs group is a massive waste of time.. Before you freak out, let me explain, They target the elderly.. Go to one of the group meetings, and you will see it is mostly people 60 plus.. The ones that are asleep by 7 pm. The program is set on the ideal that the police will be able to react by having people use this group to tell on their neighbors. I was raised in this town, like most of you. An I know I was raised to know, if you open your mouth about someone else, and you rat someone out, expect to have your face stove in.. and your lucky to get away with just that. 90 percent of this town will not rat out anything they see, unless it directly effects them, or a loved one. Why not take the officer that is assigned to be at this womans beek and call, and get a new officer,(not from seabrook) and make them the Towns new Drug enforcement officer. Take this officer and assign them South Main and Collins street. Make it policy, That any arrest made as a result to drugs, be redirected to this officers desk, and this officer has the ability to investigate every arrest.. An work with the arrested to take the bigger Dealers of our streets. This officer can not be from seabrook, or I would go as far as new England, bring in a outsider with no ties to anyone. Anyone who thinks I am wrong, I invite you to go join the watchdog group, and tell me what this group does to better the town besides waste time of the officers. I am 40 yrs old, and everything they teach and talk about at these forums, Mike frost taught me 32 yrs ago. Stop wasting the police forces time. Do away with this waste and redirect the police directive.

Selectman Khan will Either Answer Or He Wont. He Is A Elected Voice In Seabrook. It Is His Choice. I Agree All Police Officer Should Live In Seabrook. Start A Warrant Article. Stop Complaining And Doing Nothing. Stop Attacking Our Selectman When You Do Nothing To Better Our Town. Selectman Khan Atleast Is trying To Improve Our Town.

im sorry to hear about ur son. the shit is bad,but it says on the package (not for human consumption. neither is bleach,anti-freeze-people (adults) put the life in their own hands. addicts affect all the people in their life. everyone chooses a path-somtimes it turns out bad. u people wouldnt believe the amount of people on oxy and selling 2. if the cops stopped the drug problem ,the town might not need them or the man hrs riding around (so called getting drugs off the streets). they had a guy busting all of them but got rid of him-baker. this whole cycle is like a rat on the wheel. same families in town jobs, same families on drugs, same families raping the system(welfare, disability),the n 1 generation reproduces and starts the cycle over again-because of the environment they r brought up in. i could get rid of a lot of druggies and thieves but the town likes spending their money on wasted manpower

I have read most of the comments here. I was like most of you, directed here by The Seabrook Watchdog post asking for people to come here and post. In the announcement, The SWD asked us to post our thoughts, even if we do not agree. Well here I am.
I joined the Seabrook watchdog group so I could take a active role in our town. I must admit I am a busy person, I work and have small children and attend my kids sporting events. That being said, I do not have the time to attend the meetings. I do however, try to stay up-to-date on the Watchdog facebook page.
Now here is where I am kind of lost. Lately there has been more post about fake pot, and less about more serious issues concerning the town. I agree that this fake pot is bad. We have much more serious drugs effecting our children though. As other posters on Topix have posted, Heroin and pain pills.
We know most of the heroin comes from Mass, But we also know that most of it goes to south seabrook. Why are we not discussing this on the SWD facebook page? Why are we not trying to figure a way to stop this.
We know that the pill problem in town is massive. We know it is coming from the Doctors. Why are we not trying to figure out a program to fix this? The Watchdog group does not even discuss this very much.
It is all about fake pot, and someone calling to get donations and cars from other state's trying to sell meat!
My suggestion, as I believe that to complain and not try to offer a solution is just not productive. We need to try to figure out a way to find out who is getting these pills in our town, and putting them on the street for sale. We could make a system where when someone is arrested for having pills, They are entered into a list of names, and then the list is forwarded to area doctors and hospitals so that they are not prescribed any longer. I am sure that we could come up with more idea's too.
I also would like to know, as other's have asked in the past. Why the Watch dog group has not tried to work on this problem as much as they have on the Fake pot.
I want the fake pot gone too, Do not get me wrong on that point. I think it is horrible. I think it has no place in our town. I just feel we have a more demanding issue in front of us right now. Why use a umbrella to stay dry in a storm, when we are already standing in a massive river. I beg the watchdog group take a stronger stand against the bigger problem our town has, Hard Drugs.

Why is a selectman (AK) even in on this discussion about spice ect? Been in his store lately? Sells bluints, wrappers rolling papers ect all for drug use. If he really cared he wouldn't be selling that stuff. He is a phony!

seems someone or somebodies feel the trueths need to be removed from seabrook topix,by having the other topic posts on this subject removed.if anything should be censored its the twisted unimformed logic in this topic.perscription pills and heroin is the real drug problem in this town.untill people are ready to admit this your loved ones, neighbors and friends will continue to end up in instatusions, jails, or the grave yards.and yes synthetic marajuana is NOT legal in NH, if you know where its being sold call the NH AGs office or the state pd they know how to enforce these laws.

I am not from this nuckle dragg, in hick-ass town. But in the two years of residing here. Clearly there is by far there is a denile unparalleled in regards to the obvious drug problem of epidemic proportions. I conduct myself in a way that openly opposes this scumbag lifestyle. And have no problem taking a big round or two out anyone who cares to go toe to toe. In fact after much observation that what most of the low life morons need. And on this fact I am in aggreement. The barney fife pragade isnt even capable of making a dent in the problem.

A little more to address in regards to the seabrook drug issue. Not sure about this synthetic pot thing. I guess. Its been a big topic as of late. And the heroine- prescription drug thing is very reall. But see heres the thing. I believe a much bigger drug is on the rise here. And thats meth. Yes meth. This insidious poison is being sold on our streets right now. Maybe not in the numbers that other states are experiencing. But just the same. If seabrook and the surrounding towns are to go full scale, look out for your possessions. In most of these hard hit meth states. 80 percent of all theft crime is related to meth.

Are you the same curious from the marijuana thread that appears to be coming across indicating that pot use is ok? Or is it just okay for you but not others including school bus drivers?
