The kids who were mean to her in school, are still nasty mean people today. In fact, I bet some of them post here under cute little names. I think it was a great story, because is shows that there are better people in this world. Not just crimminals. She is an amazing person, and I would love to be 1/2 as kind and generous as she is. I hope all the haters in the world are paying attention. She is above all of you. God bless you Quilt Lady!

Thanks for wasting my time. This was a perfectly BORING personal interest story.
Quilting? Gimme a break.
Give her a bag of M&M's and make her put them in alphabetical order.
Now THAT would be interesting....

I'm a quilter myself. I've made quilts for people who have had a fire in their home, women with breast cancer and pancreatic cancer, and for raffles for those with brain cancer, and sent one to a soldier returning from the Iraqi war who had seizures from being shot in the head. This 'gift' that has been given to all quilters is just that - a gift. Most of us make quilts to give to those who are in need of compassion at the time. We NEVER get what it costs us to make them. But when we give to those in need, we are rewarded in ways that people like Jerry can only dream about. Hopefully Jerry, someday before you die you will do something to leave a legacy of yourself. It's not how we die that is important, it's how we live.
Thank you

Contact , probably General Manager. Mention the byline - Student Who Struggled Now Master Ohio Quilter. Ask who wrote the article and ask if they can give you their email address. They usually will reply fast. Just ask the person how to contact the Quilt Lady. Give them a few days. I'm sure that they need to check with her before releasing any information. If there is no response from the person who wrote the article, find the name of the school, google it and call them for more information.
