Ms. Imm, the "future" with Brocton looked pretty dismal and expensive to the 700+ who voted no. Again, Westfield has many extracurricular activities and our students get into good colleges and are successful. The musical will go on because Westfield is dedicated to it's success. Some of us care about this small town AND the school AND our property values. When people learned the truth about Brocton's financial picture, and the "plan" to eventually eliminate a school in Westfield, a merge with Brocton had nothing to offer. Studies have shown that small districts who merge with small districts do not improve the quality of education and do not reduce costs.

Brocton should be glad for unanswered prayers. Maybe they should spend some real time in Westfield and see what they would be subjecting their kids to.

If you can't win the right way, cheat and re-vote until you can. Nothing like eating crow more then once.

The no voters lost 59 to 41 percent, isn't that enough for the education chief to say no to another merger vote? It wasn't close!

Heard Marie Edwards is pushing for a re vote. Maybe she'll push it as hard as she did her credit card and the whole mess will be all over her face, again.

Lets see, Westfield voted down a merger with Mayville, voted down a merger with Ripley twice, voted down a merger with Brocton.........should anyone be worried about another merger vote? Haha

You don't even know what a bad building is. So used to spending money on your building so you can't even live with a bucket here and there. Big deal. It will get fixed. Brocton should be more worried about the mice and rat problems it has in its building running around in the ceilings.
