Will they be giving away school supplies or do you know where the back to school bash is going to be held?

I hope to fuxk they're giving away school supplies. Just got the supply list for my kid going into KINDERGARTEN and they want 24 glue sticks?!?! What the fuxc is my kid gonna do with 24 glue sticks?!? Why don't you educate my kid instead of sticking macaroni on shiit?!? Oh, on top of that the registration fee goes up $10?!? What's that all about? I asked three different "school officials" and no one knew what the increase was for. I did get one answer. And I quote " because they're gonna do something different wit the kids this year" well that was vague as fuxk! Someone's getting a personal bonus it seems! This town, its politics, its schools, even the Catholic school.....shady as fuxk people.

Well there is an extra vice principal to pay for at FIS. And the administrator's salaries. Apparently cutting the aides hours was not enough.

What a typical liberal response. Offers no solution and attack the one raising question on shady policies. Exactly what is it that I'm missing Mr Redbird since my head is apparently up my arse? So I inquire about registration fee increases and get a blanketed answer makes me a fine wf citizen, well then I'm proud to hold that title.

I believe your use of language was not called for. Don't expect everything to be given to you. That's what is wrong with the community..everyone wants a free handout. I work and don't expect handouts. I knew these expenses were coming up and I put money aside. That's my problem with you. Seems like people wanting things for free have better cell phones than me, buy better groceries than me and can afford their cigs and tattoos. GET YOUR PRIORITIES STRAIGHT! Stop feeding off me and the rest of us working class.

You should probably check glue stick prices at Walmart , they are 20 - 25 cents, redo your math. Also, believe me kindergarten supplies are just a drop in the bucket, you are really going to complain as your child moves up in grade levels . You should not have kids if you didn't want to buy school supplies, I knew when I had mine they would eventually attend school. Lastly, sounds like they are getting a wonderful education on filthy words at home.

Your first sentence: I hope to fuxk they're giving away school supplies. So yes, you did say this whether you meant it for yourself or not. Hello,$30.00 for glue sticks, you might try checking prices. I've had children go through school, and yes they do use them academically not for "babysitting". Maybe become more involved with your child's learning and you will understand. Or wait, are you one of those parents who think it's not your job? Also another posted said it perfect...great language skills and if you didn't want the expense that goes with children, you shouldn't have had them. Just wait, if you are complaining about Kindergarten prices, you have no idea what's in store!

You should probably get your facts straight before you comment. There is NO extra salary this year for the addition of the new vice principal. She took on those duties along with her current role as curriculum coordinator. Effectively doubling her work load to help your district. You're lucky to have her.

Not hating the poor, just don't think that people should expect everything for free. I work and so should most of these people that expect it for free.

Might be lucky to have her but I guarantee she is getting more compensation one way or another. You did not address the higher than average salaries for the administration or the cutting of ancillary employees benefits and hours.

Nope, wrong once again.

Compensation is the same. She could have stayed in her former position and been payed exactly the same salary, benefits, sick days, etc., without the extra responsibilities. Some people care, other people complain, it's the way of the world.

As far as the discrepancy between WF admins salaries and other districts....I just don't see it. After researching comparative districts salaries for those who are still actually employees in WF, they seem comparable.

Now, let's touch on the issue of the aides. I'm not in education...but, I am in business, if it comes down to budget issues and me making a choice between cutting back on my highly skilled laborers or those who are not.....there's really no argument. Does it suck? Yes, aides are invaluable. But, again....that's the way of the world.

It is people just like this that make me sick. For starters I am looking at the kindergarten supply list right now and it says 10 glue sticks. But regardless, whether it is required to have 10, 24 or 50 who cares? It is supplies needed for the education of YOUR child. The child that you brought into this world. I think paying your little registration fee and providing the supplies needed is asking very little considering the amount of time that YOUR child will be cared for, educated and fed for the 180 days of the upcoming school year. You may not think it is a great education but I can guarantee YOUR child will not here the F word 100 times a day along with any other filth that comes out of your mouth. YOUR child not having to hear that during the hours of 8-3 is a blessing. God Bless our teachers, administration and staff of District 168. Having to deal with people like this are a part of your job that you should NEVER have to deal with.

If you don't like what is being done at the public schools you can always send your child to a private one.
Then you will really flip your lid over book fees ($150) and the school supply list is equivalent to that of public school.
