He will be missed. He did a good job. Maybe the republicans will make it work and we can stop being a welfare state. The rest of the country must be sick of supporting us.

I wish he would run for Gov. I liked Haslam pretty well until all this no bid real estate crap he has an interest in. I also don't believe for 1 second him and his brother did not know anything about this Pilot rebate ripoff. Worship that mammon.

He is not running because he can't win. He knows that. He has done a great job but his district is now republican. He will be the next mayor of jackson; not because he necessarily wants to be but because he needs a job. He will do well. Edward Jackson will win his current seat. Everyone wins---except the other folks that had their eye on being mayor.
