Instead of fighting this on a district by district basis, we would be better off fighting for LGBT protections, and gender identity protections on a state and federal basis.

Florida is just one of those states (much like Kansas) where efforts to get much of anything accomplished on the state level is almost futile. Look how long it took them to finally beat down the adoption ban. The only really achievable victories are going to be local until we can get federal law where it needs to be.
