I will bet a $1 that he has already contacted a blood sucking attorney to either:
1) Sue the owner of the building which he hit for building the building too close to the beach, or
2) Sue the City for failure to provide safe conditions for kite surferers during a Tropical Storm, or
3) Sue Fay, the Tropical Storm itself.....

4) Sue his parents for being dumb like him.
5) Sue his teacher in kindergarten for being dumb like him.
6) Sue the kite manufacturer for making a dumb kite.

A Darwin Award awaits you, Mr. Kearney! While you undoubtedly have a future and seat reserved in some governmental position like the Florida legislature or governor's office, please, do not reproduce.

What I'd like to see is a cop citing someone for refusing to leave the water. Is he going to swim out with the ticket in a ziplock bag and a waterproof pen, or will he call the marine unit out and wait the 3 hours it will take to get there?

Great reporting. Or maybe the hospital actually lost a patient within 24 hours of his condition being declared critical.
