They do it because they KNOW there will be very little consequences for their actions, and they could make some descent money by selling them. plus they know damned well, the system WON'T keep them in jail and this is why YOU are allowing them to keep on doing it. now, what are you officials gonna' do about it?....if you do nothing but put them BACK into house arrest, are WE to take the law into our OWN hands to make sure WE are safe, as the judicial system does NOT care about your safety or the safety of these kids...if they did, they woul;d keep them in jail, I'm warning you right now on here..if you let those kids out of jail into house arrest and they break into MY vehicle?, you might never find them again. I am sick of this s hit. make more room in jail...build another, whatever it takes, stop letting these mother criminals back out on the street.

These people on so called house-arrest get food stamps on our dime, free medical on our dime, and most don't pay any rent,it to is on our dime. Then they continue to break the law, i.e. steal, sell or use drugs, or harm other people and then go back to jail for a short time and then back out to do it all over again. Smarten up Bennington, Vote to change things or just keep giving them free ride while we work. You would be offended to know how many felonies that Russell person already has at 21yrs of age.

Call Senator Sears and voice your concerns to him. He is the Chair of the Judiciary Committee and he is a major player in what goes on with our criminal laws. It IS time to change things!!

A lot of these 'furloughees' are out here wasting our tax dollars. These 'furlough failures' should be doing their time in jail. We NEED to build bigger facilities no matter what it costs. There are ways to build what we need without emptying our wallets.
been there

Moral of this story....when stealing ATVs try not to ride them away. They are rather loud and can be HEARD.
