This man who heads the church that has abused children through the centuries is a hypocrite who should be forced to shut down his show.

Marriage isn't even a sacred vow anymore - over half the people that VOW FOR LIFE don't really mean it and get divorced. To save FACE they get married so they can sleep together without any eyebrows raised, when they decide they don't like each other anymore - they move on. Marriage is too easy, Divorce is too easy. Marriage should be kept to the heterosexual FAMILY that can reproduce children. If you want to DATE someone... go ahead (buy a collar(ring) for devotion, if you wish), that way if you decide it's not working take the collar(ring) back - stop wasting time and money in the judicial system. Stop looking for hand-outs and revenue breaks just because you are married. If you don't reproduce children, you shouldn't be considered a FAMILY. Leave the old Pope alone, just because of his beliefs - after all he only follows the ways of his church's morality. If you feel the need to explore SEXUAL ACTS... go ahead! But please leave your exercises in YOUR bedroom and stop shoving it down MY throat.

To geerish:

Less than one percent of priests have caused sex abuse in the Church in the past 60 years, yet 5% of teachers are accused of it every year and as many as 30% of families have done it one time or more. If all the people that was accused of it, and put in jail, most people would have one or two relatives in jail. So I say leave the Pope and the priests alone. There was only two people that came into this world with out sin and your not one of them.

Unless you have went to a catholic mass tonight, or plan to go Sun. morning, you have no reason to comment on the Pope. You can go discuss things on the Islamic teachings and debate weather the Koran is right or wrong, or go the Jewish site and debate the Torra's. Why does the catholics and their church get such great interest from non catholics? No go down to the "Church of whatever you want us to be" and throw some cash in the basket, you won't have to follow any hard rules there{but don't forget the cash}.

How about people who can't have children? Or those who choose not to have children? Or those who adopt children?

I believe the reason is that they try to force their beliefs on the Country as fact.

Church doctrine is only meant for catholics, the news station like to broadcast this stuff meant for catholics is to stir up hatered, it's hip to hate catholics, and the catholic church. It is not the church that is bothering you, it is your own conscience.

My own conscience bothers me not a bit. And it is the catholic church that stirs up intolerance towards others who do not share thier beliefs. Speaking from a catholic educated non-catholic.

Some things in this world we should be intolerent towards. This new attitude that everyone can do whatever he wants, does not seem to be working out to well for many people. To view "wrong" as "right" is insanity.

I think the Pope's family should have the same rights as anyone else - the right to whatever values they subscribe to.

Hey are all those people in the past who ate fish on Friday who went to hell before the Catholic Church changed that rule forgiven? If so we need to tell the Catholic Church to go to hell along with the NAZI Pope!!!(for a rescue mission of course).
