Many of our European countries will dissolve in any case soon. For example, such EU economic locomotives as Germany, the UK, Spain and Italy are right up the split now. The more so as the very USA has never been the "common State": According to American Declaration of Independence (1776) it is the Union of Independent States. BTW, some of American States also strive for withdrawal from the Union because of current financial crisis.
Simply in heavy crisis conditions rich regions do not want to spoon-feed unfortunate ones! But I do not think it leads to EU collapse. In reality the weak units' withdrawal from the EU will only strengthen its might!

Me personally and other Catalan voters gave a majority to parties seeking independence here and undoubtedly what we now want to see in return is Catalonian wide referendum. Now or never! Either they prepare and hold this extremely needed in Catalonia referendum in next two months or... or to the end of times we are doomed indeed here to pay off social insolvency of those impotents in Andalucia, Valencia and Murcia. I'm srsly ready even to see Barca playing somewhere in France... No kidding! Everything, just not to have a thing common with these beggars from Madrid anymore. Fuck Spain, fuck the EU! Being a part of Spain Catalonia is practically buried alive. We want referendum for our independence and want it no longer ago than next January! 300 years of slavery still did not kill our Catalonian origin!!

Yes, indeed! There is a real Muslim invasion in Spain, and not only in Spain now. But if such economically powerful parts of various European countries as, for instance, current Catalonia and Basque Country in Spain, Scotland in the UK, Bavaria in Germany or Flandreau in Belgium ( www.nytimes.com/interactive/2012/09/23/ ) become independent states, it will certainly make the whole EU more powerful, which gives us a chance to get rid of all the useless things in our common house, including Muslim immigrants! Right?

You'll hear about this all right! Current economic crisis is only whipping our Flemish provinces up to split from Wallonia – the southern region of Belgium. Our assiduous Flanders do not wish to maintain these bone-idle Walloons any more! And surely the sooner we'll do it the better it will be for the whole EU, which in conditions of heavy crisis needs only strong members!

Your language is abusive your thoughts extreem and shallow. Most probably you don´t know much either about Spain or Catalunya. The difference between Catalunya and the rest of Spain is not that dramatic.

I like Barcelona and therest of the region and I would welcome the independence but Catalunya is not very superior to other regions.
